Jesus .... the first great magician?

i was talking with one of my guy friends because i'm not sure what i believe right now and he asked me this question, "what if jesus was just the first great magician?

" he pointed out that magicians now could walk on water, and do other miraculous things that "ordinary" people couldn't normally do.

so i pose the question to you: what do you think about jesus being the first great magician?

i still believe in god.

still believe his name is jehovah or something like it.. still believe that jesus is his son, and he isn't god almighty.. don't believe in the trinity.

i believe in the resurrection.

I'm not sure what I believe. My roommate and I were doing research on how YHWH is suppose to be pronounced, we looked it up in the encyclopedia and Jehovah really isn't the right way to pronounce his name. I've never actually believed in the religion - I believe in some beliefs, but I bet I would agree with some beliefs in every religion. I guess its just how you look at things.

I would not be opposed to dating an Ex-Jw... personally I think it would be easier because they can understand what you've been through and they would never just brush it off. I am not seeking one out. If I meet one on here great.. if not great.

Not good, not good at all

hi guys,.

sorry to burden you all with this but i really have no one that i want to talk about this with, i'm afraid that i will burst into tears and wont be able to stop if i call any of my friends and tell them what's going on.

my little sister has been ill with a fever for three weeks, her doctor kept telling her it was just a bad case of the flu and that she had an ear infection, he gave her antibiotics and sent her home.

as a jw you are neutral and do not get involved in political affiairs.

now that i am not active i am very political and i vote.

I am definitely more opinionated with politics now. When I am at school, I give my opinion and once I find my ID, I'll get registered to vote.

In-laws getting in the way...

my marriage has been hitting rocky roads lately because the in-laws know my stand as far as what i feel about jehovah's witnesses.

every 3 days or so they send my wife a letter full of propoganda and how she needs to come back home, yadda yadda.

it truly is recking my marriage.

I am sorry to hear about that, but you need to talk to your wife, make sure she knows that you love her no matter what her parents says, or her parents say that Jehooba says. Just be honest with her without yelling or getting mad. Do you have any kids?
