  The star: The story about us being able to grow a rib back is ridiculous. I was told the same thing. It's bullshit. Like other bones, the rib can heal itself after a fracture (eventually). But removing a rib leaves you without that rib for the rest of yo' life.

  i normally do not comment on this type of subject, yet i have just been informed there may be child abuse involved for her two children at the hands of a fellow jw.

  i will investigate to find the facts, yet if this were true this family has lost much in the "spiritual paradise.

  a bit of a touchy subject.

  i have had the week from hell... i have a bad chest infection and have not been well for sometime (as some of you here know).

  my gp suggested an hiv test as beng gay i am a high risk... i agreed and had one.

  when i started studying again, i got the guilts and threw out lots of stuff.

  over 200 cd's - goth, punk, industrial, rock, pop, classical, you name it, i threw it.

  i got rid of my witchcraft books, astrology books, crystal ball, tarot cards, even my damn nintendo.

  I remember as a teen giving up my entire Black Sabbath, Frank Zappa, Metallica, Megadeth, Ramones (to name a few)collection because my "conscience" was bothering me. Damn I was an idiot.

  What's the point of the Awake?

  admittedly it's been a long time since i've read an awake and i can't remember much about what's in it but doesn't it contain a bunch of superficial articles with a general interest theme?

  I wasn't terribly shocked when I read it on the first thread. They are just gathering intelligence so they can include in the next KM how to respond to questions at the door regarding their pitiful existance. If we could only get into their hard drives...

  What to you do when you are being shunned?

  i used to be quiet around witnesses who were shunning me.

  i changed my mind after my dad's funeral a couple of years ago.

  i was their alone since i live in a different state; but, i guess everybody still knew who i was because of my mom.
