  DOES ANYONE STILL NOT CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS???

  just wondering if anyone still does not celebrate xmas since leaving jws.....or like me do you think"to hell with it", and join in the festivities.

  if you do celebrate it, do you still have pangs of guilt for celebrating this "pagan" festival???.

  nah..christmas is boring...i hate everyone yelling about it on the radio and television like its some big deal.its stupid...and i just wanna slap anyone wearing those red and white elf hats w/the pom poms up aside the head for being so clueless and daft...time to buy presents all you sheeple,get in debt you sheeple,your kids need more junk and crap to clutter up their lives with..get em another electronic game so they will never ever have to learn to deal with any sort of reality..dont worry,there is a lot of therapy and medications available when issues do arise...just put on the uniform,and get in line.....i got out of

  what about the famous'no blood' thing?..did they doublespeak around it?like,you can have an organ from a dead guy but not blood from a live guy?..i had no idea..i thought someone was joking when they said that a witness they knew just had a triple transplant...wow...what about smurfs? are they still anti smurf?

  restrangled,a few years ago,my house burned down and i was out of town.the fire dept called my sister,a jw idiot to see if she knew where i was.she not only didnt know,but didnt know{or care}what sort of vehicle i drove or where i might be..she to this day has never called me to see if i was alive or might need anything..BUT,my 'worldly' musician friends,threw a huge benefit for us and helped us out like you wouldnt believe..its plain to me who id rather spend eternity with...its amazing that these folks go from door to door and pester people about living their lives'right',when they are themselves some of the most miserable excuses for humans that ive ever seen...i hear your rage at losing your family..i had it too..still do,i guess..but the family members that i lost were such losers as humans that im sorta glad,in the long run,that i dont ever have to deal w.them...the borg can have 'em....

  dosent it seem that bullshit like this article could have some sort of legal action taken against the borg? i mean,the line about caring for the physical needs?..frightening..altho i know some jw folks that still care for their 'evil' spawn, in spite of the propoganda..i guess the bottom line is that if you are an ignorant asshole at heart,this sort of jw stuff will work for you.if not it wont..seems to be quite a simple way of sorting,really....shame on the w.t.b.t.s for printing such garbage,shame on them!!!!!

  What planted the seed of doubt that lead you to leave or think of leaving?

  i've been thinking of this a lot lately.

  the following experience ties my first doubt in with my present life.

  as a backdrop to this, you should know that i was a 5th generation "raised in the truth" jw through my mother (her great-grandfather got "the truth" from pastor russell).

  it was actualy when i started listening to music.not the duds smatlz stuff,but real music.made me hopeful and happy.there is nothiig like the scream of jimi hendrix's electric guitar to take the fear of yahweh OUT if a 6 year old....

  {Dogs. Huge, angry dogs.}

  {Me too, even when I had one of my young children with me, the householder would call a dog on me and order me off the property, with the dog or dogs barking angrily and not letting me off a porch. Very scary. ........................................................make that three..i was terrorized by them..and flocks of those mean grey geese.i was a kid,and just about eye level w/some of them..it was always a close race when i was fleeing them...
