The strangest looking (and acting) nut jobs you have ever seen at the KH!
by new boy inthere are so many after after 52 years in the "borg".. my top two would have to be at my last hall tigard oregon.. one lady slept in her pickup truck with 30 parakeets, sometimes in the kh parking lot.
people tried to help her with accommodations but she like the truck.
she really dressed up for the meetings......feather boa's, big hats, looked like may west from the 30's.

I like to go and give em all something to talk about.I do mad rockstar hair stuff,and wear amazing velvet clothing{I am a velvetarian}.I smile like a weasel in the moonlight thru the whole thing.Its like an acting gig.Its fun to stare down the "elders"and their wives that so long ago used to intimidate me.Now they are just old and crazy.I figure that me going to their gig is like a doing a benefit or something.

but this question is i guess personal.
for those her were born into the jdub religion, why did you leave at whatever point?

Did you fake a prayer at the dinner table?
by fade_away ini was terrible at prayers.
it was hard for me to talk to someone i can't see or hear.
everyone else put their heads down at the dinner table so i needed to do the same or i'll look suspicious.

Well,my life kinda sucked as a witness,and everyone else was having so much fun.I hated meetings and field service and all of that crap,like since I can remember.Also,As I started to become "marriageable age",14,15,The elders were warning my dad to "get me married off before there was trouble".The contestants were not up to paar,and besides,I really wanted to sleep with Robert Plant and hang around with Led Zepplin.hahahahaha

hubby got the door but waited for me to come to the door (he was on the phone).
i listened to her introduction and held the memorial tract, then i handed it back and said quite firmly that i was not interested.
