  Was There Anything You Actually Enjoyed About Being A JW?

  i'm sure this question has been raised a lot but it is always good to look back.

  the last 5 or 6 years of me being a jw, i did not have a very good go of it.

  one thing i actually did enjoy was going to the international convention.

  Wondering about this Child abuse thng,How do I file a case?

  kinda wondering about this,because our p.o.used to take me,and probably other young girls out,alone,in field service,and let his penis hang out of his pants.i was so young,that i really wasnt sure what it was.being raised on a farm,and slaughtered many animals,i though it was some sort of entrail'..i know,ignorant country girl.this happened for years tho..another girlfriend had an elder try to touch her on several occasions,and was publicly reproved when she told her mum{a devout jw} about it...not looking for any money,but it would be nice to get all of them.the guy that i had my issues with had an airplane and always counseled others on materialism.my brother got 'counseled'by this clown, because he put an 8track in his car!!

  You know.Im planning on writing a letter to the local congregation,asking for a written record of mydisfellowshipping,because I dont want any ties whatso ever to their cult,especially now that the shit has hit the fan.Wonder how they will respond.Has anyone ever gotten a written statement of their shunning?.

  How Many of Them Do You Know About?

  after flipper's thread about the wt child abuse cases, i started to think about how many children i know of personally who have been sexually abused by a jw!.

  as someone who is not especially 'in the know', it's amazing that i do know five of them.

  one who was a small baby, at the time!.

  I know at least a dozen,including on 11 year old,having been raped by an elders brother,was moved to California,to marry an Elder as soon as she turned 14..The mother was totally in on it,and no one ever knew.The girl,to this day,is a devout JW..Can you say"Stockholm Syndrome"?

  My JW mum is in hospital

  my poor mum fell over on sunday and broke her hip.

  she was taken to hospital and yesterday had an operation to place a pin in the joint.

  this was obviously a worrying time for all concerned and my dad let us all know what was going on.
