i am a total newbie to this forum i was df'd in feb 2005 and ever since then have had problems to varying degrees.
i sometimes just can't notivate myself at work and feel empty and almost hollow.
it's as if i've lost something that i will never somehow seem to regain.

for the second time in as many weeks i have left the lights on in the car and drained the battery.
the first time was technically my boyfriend's fault.
he drove to work and i dropped him off and went home, didn't realize the lights were on and well, there you go.
The lights come on automatically on my current car.
They shut off automatically, too. About 3 minutes after I get out of the car.
I haven't turned on headlights in over a year.
If I ever drive someone else's car at night, I just KNOW I will leave the lights on.

every once in a while, the whole "futility of life" thing washes over me and something inside of me mentions the suicide option.
not that it's ever seriously considered, but one of the low-level accounting-types in my head quietly sends around a "worst-case scenario" memo that everyone reads, then dismisses.. after all, things always perk up.
"but," reminds the pessimistic little guy that should've been fired years ago, "they always go back down, too.
Some people seem to have a charmed life. Some just love every adventure.
Some keep reaching and striving for something that they want. And when they get it, reach for something else.
Some have a passion that they thoroughly enjoy (my brother found his musical passion at 12 years old. I'm envious.)
Maybe I've been playing the game of life wrong. Maybe I've been taking life too seriously and maybe I've been taking people in my life a little for granted.
Maybe if I change the way I play the game, I will find it more interesting and more fun.
I'm still working on it, but, for the past 8 years, this has been working for me.

i have thought that also.
I've seen a few 'dating' threads in the past 6 months or so. And I know of a few posters who have dated and one well-known married couple that 'met' on JWD.
I would imagine that if you continually posted pm's to the women that you'd get some responses. You'd also get a reputation
