  i often wonder if my old witness friends from my past are still in the 'truth' (god i hope not)?

  i know this site is pretty popular amongst ex-witnesses.

  and since most of us have 'fake names'...we could be talking to someone that we already know.

  John Travalta changed my dad's tires before he was famous and went to school with a friend of mine from my first congregation.

  Does that count or is it just a distant glimpse at an image that never really occurred since I never actually saw him???

  Tick bite/Lyme disease...any experiences with this?

  dear all,.

  my husband came back from a 3 day camping trip in northern il.

  he was fine up until last week.. suddenley, he was so exhausted, achey, and had a constant headache 2 weeks later.

  An associate of my pulmonologist specializes in the treatment of Lyme disease.

  I have no personal experience or anecdotal information to share.

  Sorry to hear of this trouble. Thanks for sharing the symptoms.

  Still in one piece but the wheelchair isn't

  what a day.

  i was out gallavanting around - buying one thing here another there and finally heading home.. the chair hit a bump and the front wheel broke off sending me flying with the chair landing on top of me.

  personally i think it was a temper tantrum designed to let me know they were tired and wanted to ride me for a while.. i had just passed a man sitting on a bench waiting for the bus and he rushed right over to help.

  How frightening!!

  I'm glad to hear that you are (reasonably) OK and that people were kind to you.

  For those that were not able to give you a lift home, I wonder if it was because of liability concerns...? Still a shame, either way.

  Ice seems to help reduce the black and blue and swelling.

  Which cities are worth a visit?

  what cities are worth a visit of at least 3 days?.

  the cities i can think of:.

  Edinburg, Scotland

  SanFrancisco, California

  SanDiego, California

  Three days is probably not enough in these cities and they certainly offer something for everyone. I spent 5 days in Edinburg and it's still one of my favorite cities.

  LasVegas has it's place but it often closes in on me after two or three days. And if you don't like to drink, smoke, gamble or spend lots of money, be prepared to spend alot of time in your hotel room.

  A group of us should go and do a couple weeks in Europe and do all those cities... That would be fun!

  I think VirgoChik was talking about doing something like this. I know I'm interested...! -Aude.
