OK regardless of the servant part of the scripture. What of the part where he says there is no other god before or after him, yet the WT says that Jesus is a God... especially in John 1:1 where the word (Jesus?) is a god?

So in doing some research into the identity of Christ we all know that the NWT quotes John 1:1 as:
"1 In [the] beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. 2 This one was in [the] beginning with God."
This is to say that the "word" is not God, but Jesus Christ who is "a god."
Yet lets rewind a little bit here in our copies of the NWT and go to Isiah 43:10:
"10 “YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that YOU may know and have faith in me, and that YOU may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none. 11 I—I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior.” "
Here god states his servant whom he has chose (Jesus Christ???) is the same One. Before Jehovah and After Jehovah there is no other god, nor savior.
Now a friend of mine I showed this too said... "so what in one scripture he is talking about god as the name, in the other as the title. It doesn't show anything as far as them being the same person"

Just how honest are you?

I would probably not tell them.
I also had another experience where a guy at the ATM left the ATM at the "would you like another transaction" screen... I could withdrawn all his money (an he had a few grand) but that would weigh to heavily on my conscience.
If you found a wallet with alot of money in it, would you keep it? (I wouldnt, cuz I know how much I would appreciate it if someone returned mine)
Nah I would send it to them in the mail, or call them. I'm not that bad.
How about just a plain envelope, or bag of money with no name? Would you turn it into the police? (still pondering over that one) lol

So...have you ever found something? Money or anything of value and kept it?
Lol you ppl will probably think im bad. but when I was 7 I made a little device out of paper clips that I would stick into the KH contribution box and pull out 20 dollar bills.... but hey at 7 I'm sure I put it to better use than the cult did...

Take for instance my exprience today. I went to Pickup Stix and ordered the kung pao chicken. I gave the young girl at the register a $20 and my change due back was $10.91... I told her I would give her a dime because I didn't want 91 cents in change. So after handing the girl the dime she stares at it perplexed for a minute, with her hands shaking a bit, and then fubmles with the register and gives me $10.81 back, smiles and says thank you.
I seriously do not understand how someone could fail at such a basic addition! I asked her how old she was, to which she said 19, and a recent high school grad at that. How do you graduate high school with such poor computational skills? I feel that our schools are doing such a poor job with kids today. It is any wonder all our jobs are going overseas.

In southern California in the mid-90s we had a circuit overseer. I totally forgot his name.. but never forgot the way he opened his prayers.
He sounded like he was trying to channel Jehovah's spirit or something he would open it up like:
"Jeeeeeeehhhhhhhoooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh! Our beloved father in the heavens"
Lol! No joke he held the name Jehovah for like 15 seconds. Needless to say I wasn't the only one laughing at this comedy either.

I fail to see how they can file bankruptcy when they still have tangible assets. On top of that if they do file bankruptcy, I don't see why the proceedings cant continue and the money from the liquidation of the church cant be used to pay restitution to the victims....

by pratt1 inwhen i was a teenager, and really trying hard to be a "super witness" i remember thinking that if all the wicked people were destroyed, how would this change our everyday life.. what happends to the people that supply electricity, water, garbage collection, gas, fuel for cars, mechanics, farmers, cattle herders, etc.... how would we survive?
if armafoggeten happened in the winter would those in colder climates die?.
i you were on some sort of medical equipment that required electricity, would you die if there is no one a run to work in the electrical plant?.
