  Yes, the HIPPA laws are very strict, and this is one of the reasons, people like JW's ratting each other out. I used to work in acute psych, had a woman come in, oh my, she had a break down, all kinds of horrible stuff came out. It certainly was not my place to say anything. She was having enough trouble the way it was. I think it was hard for her to understand that I was NOT going to tell anyone. I wonder how many JW's, if any have been punished by the legal system for HIPPA violations?

  His Mother, who is df'd asked him if he understood he would not be able to talk to her, he said "No.", he has no clue,as stated here, they want to push the numbers up, don't really care about the individuals. His uncle, his Dad's youngest brother, was baptized at nine also, he is now 19 and df'd. My Grandson and his uncle were VERY close, together every weekend, etc., now all of a sudden, they can't associate. How is that in the best interest of any child. Anway, we are trying to stop it. That is why this nasty custody issue is coming up.

  I know why they act like they do. They are special. They are the only ones who are going to make it into the new order, and we are under the control of Satan. That only makes it worse. Our attorney has put in for an evaluation, going to try to prove alienation. Let's see, "When you and Daddy Ray die at Armageddon, ****** will be our real Mom." "You don't love Jah, so you will die at Armageddon, if I am with you, I will die."Our nine year old Grandson told us last week that they(the elders?) are going over the info with him to get baptised. NINE. Can't afford Magnani, but ordered his kit. Our attorney is willing to do what we ask, hope he can handle it. Our court date is set for Jan.9. Trying to find any info I can. Thanks again. Sorry if I seem overly sensitive. I guess after years of.........I am. I'll try to do better. Cindy

  Jeez guys. I am not turning anybody in for anything. I simply asked a question. I need the information to make a comparison in a custody battle AGAINST my son in law who is suing for full custody, insists on raising the young ones as proper, little JW's. He has them spying, and tattling on each other for every little thing they do when at their Mom's house. I just remembered the article and how the society tells us in every aspect of our lives how we need to be policing others, turn them in, and keep the cong. clean. I tossed all my books, couldn't remember where the article was. Thanks to all who helped. Cindy

  My daughter's ex, JW hubby, is suing her for full custody of their children. One of the kids came through the kitchen, and stated, "I am telling my Dad on you." Nothing was going on, just sitting there. Explained to him that what we do is our business. "No, my Dad said I should tell him EVERYTHING that happens at my Moms house." Anyway, I am trying to make a comparison, with my job as a nurse, how JW's demand complete loyalty, in all areas of life, NO MATTER WHAT. I would never turn anyone in. I wish I had never heard of Jehovah's Witnesse.

  No, nothing has happened. I am a nurse, a faded JW, but I remember something about an article, don't know where, that stated our loyalties to Jah and keeping the org clean come above patient confidentiality, and it would be our duty to report members to elders who seek medical care contrary to the scriptures, according to them. I just went crazy and got rid of everything. I kept all the books, etc, for years, then one day I just threw it all in the trash. Suitcases full. Now I wish I had kept them for reference.
