  MY APOLOGIES TO ALL

  looking back over the last few weeks, i think i've been unnessarily rude to some posters and i just want to apologize to anyone who has been on the receiving end of my anger recently.. i believe that i'm so angry, dismayed, devastated and heartbroken over what's happening to my brother in law, that i've been taking it out on others and that's not right.

  it makes absolutely no difference what i think of the wts as a whole, or whether or not americans have a universal healthcare system......none of that makes any difference whatsoever when someone you love and has been like your brother for 35 years is dying and there's not a fucking thing we can do about it.. my sister just called me and there's more bad news, and that's that his disease has now progressed into the acute myeloid leukemia which means he cannot start the therapy they were going to give him, as this is far more serious now.

  they want to start chemo right away, but his blood counts aren't up high enough for him to survive.

  Do Jehovah's Witnesses even know their own teachings...

  i've had a rash of people commenting on my videos lately that seem to not even understand their own teachings.

  it leads me to question if jehovah's witnesses can even explain their own beliefs.

  for example if i ask a question about the 1914 doctrine specifically about the biblical backing behind 607 bce being the year for the destruction of jerusalem, 9 times out of 10 i'm going to get some sort of answer that involves the "prophecy" in matthew 24 and how it somehow has been fufilled since 1914.. apart from the fact i honestly don't think i can find a jehovah's witness who will actually understand the question at hand enough to answer the points therein, i'm to the point where i don't know if jehovah's witnesses even understand their own teachings.

  And that is pretty much the exact answer I got from my wife and then she told me how the Thursday book study article made it so clear to her, she even read the article to me.....it is a taught answer, and the blind adornment of the GB is what makes it all possible......the witnesses don't know their own teachings, I have asked what I consider very simple questions on their doctrines of some of the folks my wife has studied with, either getting 'let me research that in the bible (really WT disc) and get back with you or an attempt to shift back to either the book my wife was studying or an area of comfort.

  Blood fractions, 1914, 1919, even the sealing of the anointed being changed, no clue whatsoever, and with the teaching on nulite and the ever increasing role and power of the GB, it really does not matter to any of the JWs.

  As long as there are bad things going on and being broadcast in the news, the JWs have something to lean on and talk about us being in the worst times ever, so no need to rely on the old and unknown doctrines......

  Weird "end of world" convention advert left in my door yesterday.

  it is a single 8.5 x 11 color page that opens with this drivel: how can you survive the end of the world?

  --- you are warmly invited to come and listen to the answer.... there is a typical watchtower picture of zombie-like survivors coming out of a dark armageddon storm cloud with lightning and thunder, and walking into a spring field of sunshine and flowers.. on the back is quoted mark 13:37 - "keep on the watch".

  (said near 2000 years ago, but continuing on) - four bulletins: stay awake as christian families / know that the end is near / imitate jesus' example of watchfulness / keep in expectation, watching for jehovah's day.. at the bottom is a generic invitation to mail in what is a little coupon for a bible study to the local branch office (no local contact information is given) with entries for such places as trinidad/tobago, ghana, nigeria, curacao, etc.

  My wife still has her copy of this invitation sitting on the table..........once again prey on the fears of the weakminded.......then preach about how we are SO CLOSE......yuck

  What got me about the invitation was the smiles on the faces of the folks walking away from an event were 6 billion plus folks will be killed......
