Thanks....I really just don't get it...but when the org can get someone to the point where they just blindly accept, and with the power of the 'light keeps getting brighter', I guess anything is possible or explainable!
So 'pre-baptism' party, doesn't that glorify the child, and isn't the reason that mother's day and father's day are not celebrated is because they teach only to glorify jehovah?

absolutely horrible... perhaps more so because it is so close to home..
There are no rules in the BIBLE (OT or NT) against blood transfusions, only against eating blood.....I still marvel that a transfusion is considered eating blood, but an organ transplant is not cannibalism...

i remember as a kid, 80's, it was called the "new system", then late 80's, early 90's, changed to new world order.
it's interesting that governments, conspiracy theories, news, etc, are all calling the one world government, the new world order.
mine does.

for myself it would have to be the year they picked as the destruction of ancient jerusalem 607 bc.. i have an assumption this was done purposely to coincide correctly with making 1914 an a important pivotal date.
in human history, which by all factual evidence it was not.. unassuming and deceiving manipulation for self marketing purposes.
if each and every jw were to accept fractions as a matter of conscience, how many of the senseless deaths could be prevented.. .
i have no idea on what is normally given to a person in a transfusion, but from some of the reading i have done, whole blood transfusions, which are strictly forbidden, are very rare.
really how dangerous is the current blood policy...if all jehovahs witnesses were made aware of what is actually allowed and accepted the fractions allowed?
This whole thing still amazes me......the ignorance of the elder I spoke with, he did not get it when I asked questions about blood....can one use fractions.....yes, a MOC, can one store blood......no, it must be poured on the ground, do fractions come from stored blood......yes......
Did not set off any signals at all, I could tell that all critical thinking skills, at least in that area, were numbed by the beliefs/teachings of the GB......
