  An Essay on Blood

  this can be found at genesis 9:3,4. the society then states above " they were not to consume blood".

  noah was required to bleed any animal that he killed.

  he wasnt forbidden from eating the flesh of an animal that had died of natural causes.

  Doctrinal ramifications of large increase in 2008 memorial partakers?

  the nearly 10% increase in partakers at the memorial in the 2008 annual service report is a huge increase.

  there were increases in the previous years too.. this massive increase is no doubt attributeable to the 'new light' this year that the calling of the 'heavenly class' was not closed in 1935, as previously taught.

  the new understanding this year is that the calling of the 'anointed' class is 'evidently' still open.

  I am pretty sure you know by now that jesus cumes as many times as a porn star. He came to earth as the messiah, the came back from the dead, he came invisibly in 1914 but is still "ruling in the midst of his enemies"....so he still has not come "in all his glory" which i believe is when the 1000 year kindom thingy starts.................oompa

  So that is the key......needs to be 'in all his glory'.........

  I am not sure if this is the correct place to address...but doesn't it also say to partake of the emblems (or whatever they are called) until Jesus returns....which he supposedly has in 1914, even though invisibly???

  Last year, the US showed 3% growth, this year down to 2%

  If one calculates the US growth, it is somewhere around 1.57%.....so about half of last year.....

  jws say everything they believe is based on the bible.

  so name a jw belief that can't be proven using a bible alone and no wt publications.

  I think it will stay stagnant during most of 2009, but start to improve towards the end and into 2010....I think just the change in administration in the US will cause a bump in the US, not for any good or sound reasons, but just because of a change.

  Questions about the '89 WT change

  this is in reference to the '89 wt with the change from the individual issue to the bound volume that originally said the preaching work would be completed by the end of the 20th century.

  my question is: are there bound volumes of the '89 wt that were printed prior to 2000 that do not contain the change?

  or does anyone know where i could get an original issue of the individual '89 mag?
