My thoughts and prayers for healing are with you, Blondie.
I acquired a nasty "bug" this week... buckets of herbal tea and
whole-grain oatmeal with soy milk helped. And lots of water.
Hope you're feel better than ever in a squint of time!

***No oil coming out of Darfur though, so this is not our problem.***
Whuh? You're joking, right? There's lots of oil in the region! Oil is Sudan's #1 export.
Much is owned by Chinese coalitions who are also supplying weapons. They're the
greatest opposition to sending in U.N. peacekeepers.
Here's an informative video:

WT letter advises JWs not to edit Wikipedia articles on JW subjects
by cabasilas inapparently, the watchtower society has recently issued formal advice that individual witnesses should not edit jw articles on wikipedia.
i occasionally edit some of the jw articles on wikipedia.
a couple of days ago i noticed a comment from one of the most respected jw editors to another jw editor on his personal talk page mentioning a letter from the wt society about editing on wikipedia.

I can just picture it...
"Did you hear the latest? Wikipedia was TAKEN OVER by the Apostates! The Society says not to go there anymore."
"Why would we ever want to, anyway? Everything we need is provided by the Slave."

The term apostate is used freely on this forum, don't you find it offensive
by avidbiblereader ini find the term apostate used freely towards those who have left the org, by both witnesses hiding and also ex witnesses calling themselves that.
don't you find that offensive.
i have been out for over 6 years and the last thing i consider myself is an apostate.

Badge of honor? Here's a fancy red A for Apostate:

Remember Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter? It stood for adulteress (which is what the WT did with the UN),
but in end the Puritans called the disfellowshiped woman ABLE.

***I am calling everyone I know and telling them to beware with this guy. And not to give him any of their work.***
Careful, lovelylil! If this guy is enough of a lowlife to deceive you, then take credit for your work, he's enough of a lowlife to whip around and sue you for slander.
Happened to my aunt. She thought she was doing others a favor by warning them of some guy's shady business practices. It didn't not matter that what she stated was truthful. He was able to prove in court that her warnings caused his business to drop off, and that was it.
Murphy's Law: No good deed goes unpunished!
Why not ask him to print a retraction? All he has to do in the next issue is state that the "wrong byline appeared with the article due to a production problem." And, of course, that YOU are the author.
