Warning: This topic is not about the manure coming out of the Watchtower.
I have a healthy garden, well-tended. It enriches my spirit mostly and the table as well.
If YOU raise vegetable or flower gardens and know a farmer who would give you free manure
to enrich the soil, which of the following choices are best?
a) Chicken
b) Cow
c) Horse
d) Pig
(in alphabetical order.)
And why? I mean nutrient-wise, stench and general yuck factors aside.

Q. Is PTM connected with the late evangelist Herbert Armstrong?
A. He is part of PTM’s history, as he founded Plain Truth magazine in 1934. Although Armstrong was a popular religious broadcaster for many years, his doctrines were deeply flawed. After his death in 1986, Plain Truth magazine and its parent organization, Worldwide Church of God, underwent significant doctrinal reform, abandoning Armstrong’s flawed teachings and embracing the good news of the gospel of grace. Plain Truth Ministries was formed in 1996 and has published the new Plain Truth magazine since that time. Our former history of legalistic oppression motivates PTM to warn against religious legalism, to teach sound Christian doctrine and to boldly proclaim God’s amazing grace! -

The serial rapist and Jehovah's Witness Cary Verse was "chemically castrated" yet that did not stop him from violating the terms of his probation. Now he's out again.

Sex Offender Cary Verse To Return Back To E. Bay
(BCN) SAN FRANCISCO Repeat sex offender Cary Verse is on his way back Bay Point Monday after being released from Atascadero State Hospital on a conditional release program for sexually violent predators, according to Contra Costa County Deputy District Attorney Brian Haynes.
Deputies from the sheriff's department's sexual assault unit were going door to door this morning notifying residents that Verse would be returning to the area and warning them to take appropriate precautions, Contra Costa County Sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee said.
Verse, who was convicted of four sex offenses against males between 1988 and 1992, served his prison sentences and was then sent to Atascadero to undergo treatment in the mental hospital's sexually violent predator program.
In 2004, Verse became only the second sex offender to win release under the State Department of Mental Health's conditional release program. Those conditions included 24-hour satellite monitoring and restrictions on who he could associate with and under what conditions. He was also chemically castrated.
After living in two hotels and an abbey, Verse ended up on Willow Pass Road in Bay Point, where he lived for close to two years until he was pulled over in Walnut Creek for a broken taillight. During the stop, police found a 14-year-old boy riding as a passenger in his car, a violation of one of the terms of his release.
Verse had reportedly driven the boy several times before he was caught, but did not harm him.
Judge John Kennedy said that there was no evidence that Verse had intended to harm the boy, but ordered him sent back to Atascadero in January. Doctors at the hospital have since decided that it is again safe to release Verse.
During a court hearing on Friday officials discussed further restrictions on Verse's behavior once he returns to the community.
According to Haynes, Verse will face a number of new restrictions regarding his contact with minors, including not being permitted to be alone with any minor and not being permitted to go to places frequented by minors unless he has prior written approval from the State Department of Mental Health.
Verse, who has developed diabetes and is overweight, will also continue to be chemically castrated in spite of the health problems associated with the medication.
Verse was taken off the medication when he was returned to Atascadero and is not currently medicated, but, according to Haynes, he will be put back on it within the next few days. -

I was inculcated: Keep putting up with one another. Weren't we all?
I AM a perfectionist. I get paid to cross all the T's and dot all the i's for a living while also called upon to be visually creative and make best use of evolving technology in the design world. I thrive on these challenges.
I choose to look the other way here on JWD. Some of the most expressive and heartfelt posters are simply crappy typists with poor grammar. So what? I take it to heart when it says, "everyone welcome."
Bottom line: It's the message that counts.
