just feeling a bit fed up.
it's not always like this i know but i'm wondering if life would be far easier for me and my wife if i just drew a line under all my efforts to maintain a relationship with my jw mother, brother and sisters.
all the rejection, judgementalism and condescension gets a bit much after a while.. how many here actually said 'goodbye' to their jw family and can honestly say they did not regret it?.
I have not been here for a while but I am feeling sad because I miss my mom. However, after reading some of these posts I feel much better.
Scully - My mom used those exact words to me in 2000. She told me that there is now a line drawn in the sand. I love how you resolved that.

It is amazing that they actually know they are being brainwashed and are willing to admit it. I get so frustrated and cannot seem to move forward. I would like to put this all behind me but as long as she is alive (she's 74) I think there may still be hope.

two weeks ago my wife had a miscarriage at 11 weeks.
it is very sad as it was to be my first child and my wife is already 39. what hurt the most though is that none of my immediate family contacted me.
i was d/f in january and did not expect to hear regularly from my parents and sister.
