Got new glasses progressive lenses any Ideas?

i got new glasses today with progressive lenses and transitional lenses get darker outside.

trying to get used to them.. anyone out there that has these and will it work i have a 30 day guarantee and return policy from lens crafters to go back to the old bifocal.. go back to the eye doc wed. to recheck for glaucoma.

at least it is not a blur anymore for the 12" from my face forward.

Well I am trying and can't read on the computer but distance is great and my neck is sore from turning my head all the time as the peripheral vision is a blur.

See the doc again Wed for a follow up about the glaucoma thing.

tonight i am a littel drunk and i miss him so much i can't stand it.

i have been fine allweek until now tonight.

becuasuse i am wathcing a good year with very manly rusel crowe and we watched it at movies together and made plans for our good life together that now we cant ever have because he doesnt love me enough to leave what i bleieve religiously alone.

Sleep on it and get rid of the booze and have some coffee and enjoy the morning.

Have a bagel and call a friend get some brunch, go shopping, see a movie. get involved and be surrounded by friends.

ok, so i'm a boring person who stays at home on weekends and don't go out much.

maybe not so much boring but tired, and i'm a 33 year old wife and mom who doesn't need (or want) to be out galavantin' around town on saturday night.

so...back to the subject in question: i'm probably going to stick to my favorite: crushed ice in a tumbler, a glug of absolut vodka, some cranberry juice, topped off with a splash of orange juice.

most of us seem to be concerned about world problems, from iraq, oil, darfur, katrina victims, mental illness, global warming, starvation, crooked politicians, child abuse, healthcare, racism, prejudice etc etc etc.. we know there are just really people out there that don't care or pay attention to the planet or each other.

daily things get worse.

if they are getting better the media fills us with negative negative negative all day long.. i think some here believe things will always be the way they are, its human nature.

Talked to a customer today from Africa that teaches kids from Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan, Nigeria,

He stated that these kids are so messed up from the strife from their homeland and coming to the USA with our freedoms here and no education and culture shock it is so hard for them and so much anger.

Parents are for the most part illeterate but ambitious for their kids education. A true paradox as they are poor and live in high crime areas.

i believe that i am experiencing a profound change in my personality, and those changes are at a stage where i have honestly contemplated this recently.

honestly.. i don't think i could ever do it - anyone who has followed me on the boards here know that i am neither suicidal nor an apologist for that lot.

yet, having been off work for a few weeks now with surgical recovery, i have had time to make assessment of my future.
