In response to Daves' comment: Weigh the costs! If your family are all jw's then you can expect to be totally isolated from them. If it is possible to move away and be your self you will probably feel better. So called friends that don't know how you really are will shun you in a heartbeat so they really are not your friends. If you come out you will find most people really don't care one way or the other.

The One Thing You Could Never Give Up.
by lowden inwell.........here i am, a few pints of guinness further on and it got me thinking.. i luuurve guinness with a passion but what could i never give up in a month of sundays?.

for me, it's my music, my george lowden guitar (damn i've blown my cover) and all the amazing vibes that playing, singing and songwriting gives me.. what could you not give up...........in a month of sundays.. peace.

I guess my schlitz beer by the way I saw a lot of posts here about music. My partner was Janis Joplins Guitar player and He has some cd's out and can download his music at wal mart, best buy and the internet. He made a new album last april and will be released before x-mas. He plays slide guitar and I play keyboard although I don't play that much anymore. Cheers!!!!!!!!!

I think almost all this is stupid. I am gay and knew it when I was very young. You don't choose your race color of eyes or ancestrey. So how can you choose your sexual orientation? When you know you are gay you go through absolute hell. Finally as an adult you say to hell with every one else and live your life. Come on folks people are people and all are just the same some are ugly in personality some are sweet. Religion has caused all the crap. Love conquers all Agape that is.

Makes no difference to me if someone is gay or straight. I do believe that Civil Unions should be recognized by all 50 states and all of the benefits and problems that go along with it. As Kinky Friedman said "I believe in marriage for gays so they can be as miserable as the rest of us." As it stands now a gay couple in a committed relationship have no rights except in Massachusettes. If one dies the survivor may receive nothing if blood family choose to get involved.

Personality of "Anointed" JWs

My mother and grand mother both claimed to be of the anointed. Both very kind and loving women. My mom would get very irritated at some when she would notice people pointing and whispering some even treating her special which irritated the p**s out of her. Her biggest fault was her pride by that I mean she was very poor and never would let the cong. help her in her last years ie: yard work or maybe fixing a fence you know anything around the house she always would tell them don't waste your time on me go out and preach. I live in Tx and she in CA. Of all the dubs I knew she was no phony and did not ever judge anyone but whatever came in the wt it was never ever questioned.
