thursday morning 2am cst i got a call from the garland pd my shop was broken into again 3 times this year i am so hopping mad because this is going to put me out of business i can't claim on insurance not that much only a few hundred dollars but the clean up and disruption of business i am at the point of buying a gun.
i had one of the guys replace the window again and this time put heavy duty cage wire over all of the windows.
any suggestion on how to deal with this anger?

Thanks Warlock I have plexiglass in where they broke out the pane it tore up the frame and then the vandalism was the most distressing. As for dogs I would love to but unfortunately it wouldn't be healthy for them all night in the shop, too many chemicals around that could make them ill or kill them.

i've thought for a while that those who are most virulently anti-gay often times are themselves repressing their own homosexual feelings.
the delicious irony in this one is that this guy is head of a 30,000,000 strong evangelical organization and he's been a vocal opponent of anything gay friendly.. .

The cops have never caught any of them even though I know who the first ones were. This is an auto repair shop. The first time they took $20,000.00 worth of tools.
Yes I have security but they are in and out so fast. In Texas you have the right to carry a concealed weapon with the right permits. I was told by the officers that just in that one morning 5 shops were hit and they think it is from druggers.

I am so upset certain types of people I am not even being friendly toward I can't afford to close and just leave because of contractual agreements. several posters (whom i will not name because it doesn't matter) have basically said good-bye lately.
we all responded as usual, with genuine sentiments - how much we will miss them, etc.
but, quite frankly there is something almost disparaging or critical implied toward the rest of us who choose to remain on the board by those who "move on.

I think really this is a place where we all can heal from the damage from the borg especially for those of us raised in this controlling org. Also it is at least for me a place to meet and talk with people that can understand what one has been through, especially if you are with someone that was never really involved with that cult.

Sound great however a word of caution if you are finantially dependent on your family you know rent and the like and are not really independent You could be in for a rocky road. and I don't mean Ice Cream lol. leaving the watchtower does not mean leaving god.
many here have been able to maintain a relationship with god without the need for a set of beliefs or a creed or any organised system of worship at all.
no churches, meeting halls or study groups are necessary just a deeply held conviction in the goodness of god and the value of a personal relationship with him.. such believers often stress 'spirituality' over religion.. now i don't mean to denigrate anyone's beliefs and no offence is intended but really, is a 'spiritual' approach to life any better for our mental and emotional well-being than being part of an organised religion?
I think everyone has some level of spirituality a sence of right from wrong and no one has the right to dictate what that spirituality level should be or give it a grade like a b or c etc. I also agree our state of mind has a lot to do with our health not only mental but physical as well.
