Are we all actually "bad / evil / immoral" after leaving the faith?

so recently there have been several posts with references to talks and articles that imply the following:.

most of those who learn ttatt or fade from the "truth", are actually practicers of bad things, eg immorality, hence that is why 'we' now find fault with the org?.

i find this so offensive that they imply such.

within the last few hours, two separate posters, watchtower87 and pixel, independently posted news of a april 22nd, 2014 letter to the boe regarding a change in how elders are to be appointed and deleted:.

boe - pdf - confidential 2014-04-22 adjustment in process for appointing elders and minisletter to boe: adjustment in process for appointing elders and ministerial servantswhat i found very interesting is the letterhead and the signature.

they are both from "the governing body of jehovah's witnesses" and not from "the christian congregation of jehovah's witnesses.".

Interesting. I'm not aware of any legal changes. That's strange. I do recall thinking back when they restructured the corporations that it was a way to protect assests. And I was still a believer lol. Of course then I thought that might make it harder for the guv'ment to shut them down or something.

i felt quite sorry for him in the end.. for context, i was brought up as a jw since i was very young.

i left 6 years ago (faded) a little before turning 30. i was on here a lot around that time but under a different profile that's no longer active.. for the past 18 months, i'm back living in the territory of the congregation i grew up in.

GB approves entertainment auditioning for international delegates.

i don't know if this was mentioned but i spoke with a jw from atlanta, georgia that informed me that the great gb has approved jw auditions.. yes, you read that right!

now the jw's will have their own jw idol, jw voice, and dancing with jw stars, lol.. they are using an assembly hall in atlanta and jw's from all over are auditioning from 8am till 6pm.. supposedly the idea is to have live entertainment for the delegates traveling from overseas for the international conventions.. he said they have had jw's who can play all the hits from the beatles, play merengue, salsa, sing, dance, etc.. the gb is trying hard to make their cult look normal.. some of the questions this rises are,.

will it work?

A few International Conv instructions (more ways to control)

a few official instructions jw delegates are being told leading up to the international conventions.

congregation secretaries are holding conference calls and then relating the instructions to the congregation.. atlanta - do not drive to convention, parking will not be available.

take public transportation; attendants will be on all public transit and able to assist.. dallas - attendants will be on site at all hotels to make sure delegates leave the hotel at their assigned times and take their assigned route.

the comic (which you can find here) is pretty much everything i dislike about the wt.. if you've read it you'll see how they have added to/ taken away parts of the account to make it read how they would like you to read it.. in this version, lot's wife is a materialistic b*tch who got what she deserved and lot is a hero who stood up to the bad sodomite men.. no doubt you also saw all the wonderful images of people dying while fire and sulphur rained down from the skies.

and who says the wt don't provide for the "young ones".

the part about this that makes me really mad is that this stuff is aimed at children.

Question for those who no longer believe the bible is from GOD

do you ever get to the point that you almost can not handle the sight of a thread where someone is trying to justify bible gods deplorable actions?

i must admit i have actually gotten angry over this and it makes me feel awful at times.

for instance someone who acknowledges spending hours studying the bible and cross referencing etc... and they still find a way to acknowledge that the supreme god has somehow asked for this to be written and recorded.. then those that say well i don't believe the entire bible just the parts that sound nice and that i am not ashamed to attribute to the guy i want to cuddle me at night.

It also frustrates me to no end I have to avoid it. I've gotten into it on Facebook with people and it never ends well. It all comes down to "god hasn't opened your heart to understand" and I am like wtf lol. I'm done with people that believe the bible god. The bible god is an unfathomable psychopath and I'm done with that.
