.. if armageddon is "imminent", why is wt focused on sight-seeing, entertainment, travel, etc.

so two college aged young persons came to my door, the girl did all the talking.

i immediately researched their literature and found that they are in a cult originated out of south korea (what's with koreans and cults lol??).

I spent about 10-15 minutes explaining how and why I woke up and the big problems I have with the bible, since that's what they asked me if I believed the bible and I was like, eh, not so much lol. Historical baloney, problems with the authorship, plus lack of evidence. They left me their contact info if I was curious to hear more lol. I'm wondering if the mental exercise is worth it...

Heads Up: If you are an older JW, WT has no further use for you!

wt is retiring district overseers, has sent older jws serving at bethel packing despite years of faithful service, and as of june 1, 2014, has announced that any elder that has reached 80 years of age is no longer valued or wanted as a cobe.

in wt land it would appear that older people have little or no value, and wt sees no reason to use them in any meaningful capacity.

i wonder how this makes older ones feel after devoting their lives to wt's interests while shelving their own hopes and dreams?.
