The Big Lie
by mrsjones5 inhitler wrote in his 1925 autobiography mein kampf (james murphy translation, page 134):all this was inspired by the principle - which is quite true in itself - that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods.
it would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously.
even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation.

The end of The Watchtower!
by Darth Yhwh ini was thinking about the wtbs this weekend as i mowed my lawn.
they have taken so much from my family in the form of money and most importantly time, that i have developed a hatred for them.. as i cut the grass, burning gasoline and contaminating the air, i realized that the watchtower is loosing ground.
fortunatly for my family my mother married a worldly man.

Why are JW's always together no matter what they do?
by JH inour congregation has the meetings on sunday mornings.
and i noticed that many sunday afternoons, many young and not so young jw's play socker at a park nearby.. now, i'm sure a few of them will be invited for dinner right after that.. i was totally different from them.
once the meeting finished, i didn't want to see a witness until the next meeting.

Are you tired of the whole atheist/believer debate?
by nicolaou ini'm usually the first one to stir this particular pot but it get's so frustrating to keep coming up against the same old arguments.
the phrase "banging your head against a brick wall" springs to mind.
how many times have believers argued for a designer but refused to answer the obvious question of the designer's origin?.

Brain Science Teaches You How to Fade Away As a JW!!!!
by metatron inso, you feel trapped as jehovah's witness and want to get out, but don't know how?
you keep agonizing about your witness family.
and "friends" ( trust me, very few witnesses are really your friends, since their friendship is entirely conditional on meeting attendance.

Would you change the way you left if you could?
by Gadget inif you were put in a similar position to when you left the jws, would you choose to leave in a particular way because of your experiences?
if you had nothing to loose from family etc, would you be tempted to leave with a bang, or to get some sort of revenge on those who shun you?

Would you fight and possibly die for your country?
by free2beme ini want to put this in the right frame, as what is happening in iraq is not about dying for our countries.
so this is what i mean by this question.. if a foreign government were to suddenly invade your country.
would you be willing to join the arm forces to fight for your country, knowing full well that you may die having never been able to reap the benefits of any possible victory?
-

If invaded I will fight but only to make them die.Not for country but my family and friends and just people like all of you.Flags and gods mean nothing to me.

Ok..How Can I Put This.....
by Legolas inok... i remember ( or at least what i recall..lol) how god had always dealt with people in the bible...kinda like there was 'proof' of him for all those thousands of years...right?
....well how come nothing in the last nearly two thousand years?
if there was a god how come he let the bible get distorted and let all these religions start?
