Men's hair getting longer?
by JH inwhen i was a youngster, many guys had long hair, then a few years later it got short, very short.
now i've noticed that hair for guys is longer again.. this spring, i saw boys go to school, walking in front of here, and many had very long hair.. .
just a few minutes ago, i watch the news on tv, and the man in his late 30's had very long hair....lol.

As for Don Emshoff, well I do feel bad for the guy, it is immoral what the society is doing to him but unfortunately, he is reaping what he has sown. When you put your trust in men, especially a corrupt fanatical organization, bad things will happen to you unfortunately. I don't wish bad things to Don, I also don't wish bad things to happen to anyone, but my wishing is not going to change the situation. At least Don is still alive and lives in a rich land that can provide him with something of a living, although he will have to live a spartan lifestyle and none of the adulation he may have been used to. Don should count his blessings he wasn't on the outs with the Catholic church a thousands years ago. They would have just tortured and killed him as they did to so many.

you certainly did randy... Honestly, I think that for me to move on, I have to forgive people, even elders, CO's, DO's and even governing body members. Jehovah will judge, not me. (And many will pay a dear price)
As for causing pain, I sometimes feel guilty of all the people I helped into the borg. I hope they can forgive me one day when they realize they were duped by the borg as I was. -

Damn blasphemer hit my PARKED Mini Cooper!!!!!

someone backed into my new mini cooper and left a nasty dent and took off the black plastic rim that goes over the front passenger wheel.
hell, even the passenger door won't open.

I ordered it from Amazon and felt a revulsion toward it when I picked it up. Once I read the intro and first chapter, I couldn't put it down. Finished it in two days and felt the final vestiges of the societies influence over me just melt away. What surprised me was all the references Ray Franz used to back up his points as well as the logic and common sense to make his arguements. So many things became transparent and I started wondering how I missed certain obvious points before.
Very powerful book and it should be mandatory reading for all jdubs. I think if more read it, at the very least it would help more people to analyze their faith without blinders on.

Regular in field service, maybe aux. sometimes (they look at hours carefully)
Commenting regularly at meetings
Good conduct (nothing bad that stands out)
Handling of all assignments, also volunteering for some
Develop friendship with a few elders (little brown nosing goes a long way,just don't over do it)
Likability is a good asset (thats true of everything)
Don't confess any sins maybe slight ones like (well sometimes I stay up late on the weekends; when the CO comes around, the elders discuss different brothers and what ever you may have mentioned to a elder gets repeated)
Servant appointment in less than two years
Elder appointment two years after that (unless there is a real need and you are mature then it may come sooner)

I've gone wireless!!!
by Elsewhere infor years i have forgone using a wireless router at home... i never thought i would need or even want one.
well, while staying at stevenyc's home in new york for a week, i have to say i'm sold!
he has a great wi-fi setup and when i connected my notebook i suddenly discovered how great it is to be able to lounge around any part of the apartment looking at jwd and any other web site i'd like.
