SO MUCH HAPPIER!!!!!!!!!! Not so much guilt on my mind constantly. Not to mention how HAPPY I am I found all this out before I raised my daughter up in it!!!!!!

Are you happier out of the org?
by dobbie inhi everyone i was just wondering if those of you that have left the org for whatever reason, have found your'e much happier than when you were in it?probably a daft question but i tried to talk to a friend about how i was feeling about a few things and why i don't go to meetings and she said would i really be any happier out than in?it just got me thinking about why i joined in the first place, because i was lonely and down, although i still am several years later it seems!have you found life better on the outside?did you feel a sense of freedom or was it really hard to adjust?when i try to explain what i find hard in the religion they can always say something back that then makes me think i was wrong in the first place and it is the truth after all - aagh!

What is all this about Smurfs?

i have been out a long time, and i have recently noticed a lot of you making mention of smurfs.. obviously, i have missed something.
has the watchliar sociopath society "demonized" smurfs somewhere along the line.. reminds me of the old fear of paintings of clowns, with big eyes, that made the rounds back in the late 60's, early 70's.

I remember when this started and I used to LOVE the smurfs, then suddenly we weren't allowed to watch them. I used to go to my Grandmas house after school and my cousins were watching Smurfs and I went outside or into the kitchen because I was so scared of the demons. I also remember this about troll dolls........I always wanted to play with that hair on top of there heads..and unicorns and pegasus ponies...I cant remember what was wrong with them...anyone know???? Is it because they were "mystical"..

the beaches in the outer hebrides make it one of the best places on the planet, in good weather.

Yesterday was our coolest day this week at 88....we are now back over the 100's for the rest of the week. It would usually be okay with me to be that hot but im 6 months pregnant and MISERABLE!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait for FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Just come talk to us at the Kingdom Hall tomorrow and if you are sorry for what you did there is no way we will disfellowship you. You practically have to beg to get disfellowshipped nowdays and it seems like you dont want to be disfellowshipped, so we will just need to set you back on the right course.....(I got disfellowshipped)

I agree with Serendipity and Warlock...HE WILL NEVER CHANGE and TRY MARRAIGE COUNSELING....at least the maraige counseling can be a great [lace to communicate feelings and make him realize he is not the only one "hurt" here...and alot of times they teach you to really turn to each other for support in circumstances like this, so you can provide a united front

Men's hair getting longer?
by JH inwhen i was a youngster, many guys had long hair, then a few years later it got short, very short.
now i've noticed that hair for guys is longer again.. this spring, i saw boys go to school, walking in front of here, and many had very long hair.. .
just a few minutes ago, i watch the news on tv, and the man in his late 30's had very long hair....lol.

I almost bought a flag......
by AK - Jeff inthe fog must be lifted now for me after two and a half years out of the borg.. today whilst browsing for some lawn decor, i was drawn to the american flag display in the store.
i looked it over good - all the flag pole styles, sizes, quality.
i walked away without buying one, only due to trying to keep wifey out of the hot seat, as she still has relatives in - i don't any longer.

I went CRAZY this year, HUGE fireworks, dressed my daughter in red white and blue, I wore red white & blue, we had patriotic plates napkins and I made patriotic cupcakes and cake. I have always, deep inside been patriotic and felt bad for it, but now that I am free I can be........

what will they do?

i'm 19 soon to be 20, i'm an unbaptized publisher but i want to fade and leave this crappola.
my plan is to first finish school and move out and move on.

You have to remember no matter what back room they get you in you dont owe them any information.......you DO NOT have to tell them anyhting, they have no REAL control (although they do not know that)
