Very intersesting, but why are they still partaking if they are eternally dead. And how do they keep track and call in the replacements. It all sounds so bizarre..

by mama1119 inwhen i was a teenager we had these two annointeds in our hall, man and woman, very very gung-ho elder, pioneer type.
well, they had an affair for many years and then got df...i always wondered, if god chose them to be annointed, did he now reject them.....or did they just take a break, because as soon as they got reinstats they were partaking again?????
what was the official stance on that???

by moshe ini think a big change is due soon for jehovah's witnesses and it will come about because of changes from the top.
all it will take is two men on the governing body who somehow convince the rest to implement these three changes , for starters i see this:.
#1- they eliminate all rules and guidelines on all medical practices.

i asked what impact these were making , numerically , among jws.
the prevailing view was that , numerically , there was negligible impact.

Any Dubs in your Hall that were puportedly "Demonized"?
by Sailor Ripley inwe had a whole family that moved into our congo when i was about 10. they had kids from 6 to 16-years-old.
there was always talk of their beds spinning and shoes floating, et cetera.
they lived in a literal shack so i didn't want to go there to spend the night, but i always wanted to go and "check it out" to see some fireworks.

My Dad told me once when my Mom was really sick a bunch of "sisters" came over and checked the house to see if any demo stuff was causing her to be sick. Weird, I think it was the JW that were causing her to be sick..

Teaching a Toddler to Reason...
by jgnat ini'm working on my "unbelieving mates" book today.
i'm putting together the best ways to teach a child to reason from infancy to adulthood.
i firmly believe that a child taught to reason can be permanently inoculated against pyramid schemes, con artists, bad dates, fear-mongering, false politicians promises, quackery, and destructive religious extremism.. reasoning ability is closely tied to language development.
