PROOF JESUS DIED ON A CROSS

even though there is overwhelming evidence that jesus died on a cross and not an upright state, the organization still stubbornly clings to this feeble idea, siting of course, the ridiculous notion that, because the cross was a 'pagan symbol', jesus couldn't have died on it.
as if the romans gave a damn that the cross was pagan.

low and behold, down the aisle comes a dub.
as soon as she set eyes on me, she backed out of the aisles as fast as she could, as if i was throwing poop at her.

I LOVE when JW have to help me in check out lines. There is really no where else they can go. And they have to interact with you. One time, when I was still an active JW, I went through the check out line of a DF person, and they PUPOSEFULLY left a sensor on an item and then laughed their arse off when I beeped and had to get searched by the security. Kinda funny though.

Today I was at Burlington Baby Depot registering for my baby shower, stolling up and down the aisles and scanning. Low and behold, down the aisle comes a dub. As soon as she set eyes on me, she backed out of the aisles as fast as she could, as if I was throwing poop at her. It struck my Mom and I so funny, like she was petrified of us. What did she think we were going to do??? What was she so scared of? It makes them look absolutely ridiculous running away like that. Crazy dubs.

Who cleans the KH?
by solo ini just had a flash back to when we used to have to clean the kh.
each group had to take it in turn to do the cleaning.. in our group we had a bunch of lazy b*****ds, so it was left to us kids and our dad to clean the kh, bogs, etc.
even my mum used to find some excuse to duck out.. so if meetings, door knocking, studying, praying wasn't enough we also had to spend a couple of hours cleaning every month or so.

Oh, I used to just despise hall cleaning, but so did my Mom, so I only has to go along a couple of times, and then my Dad had to go alone alot. Then he pretty much stopped too. No one ever said anything to him about it.

here's a funny story!
by RichieRich inso, i posted this on another thread, but i really think it merits its own.. a few nights ago, myself and a beautiful young lady were out to dinner.
in walked a young brother i used to know quite well, who had gested with me in times past that the only reason he would leave the jws would be to find a good looking wife (shallow i know).
sure enough, he was accompanied by a group of witnesses which mostly comprised of some of the most horrid faces known to man.

Who celebrates Halloween?

This will be the first year I do anything. We are going to take my daughter to the church I go so every onc in a while. It is HUGE and they are having a "harvest party" for kids, which is just a safe alternative to trick or treating. It should be fun.

WT book that instructs members how to lie in court..Is there such a thing?

We lost a family member today...
by morty inwhat a sad day for our family today.. also, i would like to mention that the men that killed him, did have the guts to come and tell us.
( at 6:00am this morning) a lot of people wouldn?t do that so, this is one thing i thanked him for.
he did feel awful and had more tears then i did when i picked him up and wrapped him in his bedding.. any ways............................ i called the vet to find out how much it would be for a cremation and they want $160.00 bucks!!
