"Feeling sorry for yourself" about being hit by your husband is not Christian 2/15/12 WT Page 25 P 12
by yourmomma inhave anyone of you read, the absolutly jaw dropping paragraph in this article about a women who was hit by her husband?
its in page 25 of the 2/15/12 wt study edition (i read the dumbed down version).. .
if there was any question, that the watchtowers stance is for wives to simply take it when their husbands abuse them, this makes it crystal clear.. who the hell is scanning these things before they go to print?

May 15th WT - Wives Should be Obedient, Submissive & Not Disagree
by flipper inonce again we received the may 15th " witness only " wt from our lurking jw friend.
even though i've been out for over 7 years and haven't attended in that long - i never cease to be amazed at the arrogance of this patriarchal man pleasing wt society in it's dismissive attitude towards women .
it's horrible.

My husband would laugh his socks off if acted like the article suggests!! I don't think, even if I had married a dubber, that I could have ever followed those rules. I don't know how many times my husband acts like a jerk wad and I have to show him the error of his ways (I , of course, am never wrong, Especially when I am 6 months pregnant!). But just because you are a dude, doesn't make you smarter than your wife. I can't believe that any wive nowdays would fall for this stuff.

My parents joined when I was 2-ish. I never fully bought into it, and neither did my Mom. When I got DF'd in 03, I tried hanging around for a while, but after research and blah blah blah, the whole family left. Not one day has passed with the least bit of remorse or regret about leaving. Only regret for staying in in the first place.

Lost Legitimate Opportunities For Love
by PublishingCult inwhen you were in the organization of jehovah's witnesses, did you shun legitimate courtship attempts from "worldly" men or women who were otherwise very desirable and suitable because they were non-believers?
.
did you fancy them as well, but tried to get them to study and come into the organization in order to justify the relationship?.

I pretty much only liked the non-witnesses. I tried to like the witness guys, but they were so geeky and immature. I dated outside the religion often. I did always try to convert the dates , but to no avail (thankfully). I did break up with one guy because he wouldn't budge on how much he disliked the religion. We eventually got married and are expecting our fourth baby!

Installing a Husband
by Mythbuster indear tech support,.
last year i upgraded from boyfriend 5.0 to husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow-down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under boyfriend 5.0. in addition, husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as romance 9.5 and personal attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable programs such as nfl 5.0, nhl 3.0 and golf clubs 4.1. conversation 8.0 no longer runs and housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.
please note that i have tried running nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

Wierdest Yearbook experience EVER 1967 A "talking snake" silenced by an African Witness!!!
by Witness 007 inyearbook 1967 p.105 "{chad -africa}.....a large crowd was follwing a man who had a talking serpent.
the serpent gave greetings and spoke in foriegn tongues...a brother was passing by and attracted by the commotion, he went to the house...as soon as he entered the room the serpent stopped talking.
the man cried out: "a magican has entered the room"...the brother said: "is that a serpent or a demon that is talking to you?...i know that since god created the animals not one sepent has spoken, with the exception of the one in the begining in the garden of eden...seeing that the serpent remained silent the man left the building...later he was anxious to get some literature....".

There are so many things wrong with that story its ridiculous! A.As you mentioned, blodd is kept sealed and sterile...which leads to B. What nurse would stick a dirty contaminated paper card rom a dirty contaminated wallet into sterile transfusion blood? So stupid.

Friends, put more white space in your text. I can't read big fat blobs of text.
by gubberningbody ini can, but i likely won't.. .
in school they teach you to indent and make new paragraphs when changing a subject etc., however the online-media requires more white space for it to be legible.. .
even if you're fascinated with your story, it won't be read by many unless you give us some place to rest and take a breath.. the whitespace is where we get to breathe.. .

Are you a stay at home mom, working woman with or with out children or a combination of both?
by restrangled ini am asking this based on sd-7's posts and am curious what you consider fair as far as house upkeep in the position you are in.. i was raised in the 60/70 decades from parents married in the 1950's so i seem to have a pretty old fashioned idea of what "housewife" means.. when i was working i had no tolerance for any slop habits, but since i'm home i don't require much.. so what are your ideals, how does your home operate?

I am a very traditional old fashioned housewive. My hub works I take care of three kids, cook and clean and launder and taxi all day. I make lunches for him, and have dinner ready when he gets home. I keep the house as close to perfect as possible (that is a full time job in itself), and then I do a majority of the raising of our kids, I wouldn't have it any other way. I love my role in life, I love taking care of my family, I love taking pride in my home and kids, and find total fullfillment in it. I also work partime form home in the "family business". So I get the best of both worlds. I am very blessed. And very tired
