  I need to lose weight. but HOW?

  i've gained a lot of weight recently.

  i really need to lose some.

  now, my diet isn't the problem as such....its the excersize part.

  Yikes, I've done this diet also... same amount of weight (about 25 pounds) in three months. Not pretty.

  Hi Sirona!

  I think walking the dog is a great form of exercise. Especially this time of year. I'd say keep that up til you get bored :) then move onto something else that you enjoy. Rollerblade? Smack tennis balls against the wall? (couple of things I do now and then)

  As for eating, you've gotten some great advice. Water is a big key (I've read somewhere to drink a minimum of 1/2 your body weight in ounces -- ie: 140# = 70oz.) Also, cutting back on anything that is white flour based. Increasing proteins and fibers and eating smaller portions 5-6 times a day to keep metabolism going are a couple other ideas.

  I think calling anything a "diet" instantly ruins it! Like others have said, to make it work, consider it a lifestyle change. Ballistic's plan sounds good and he's a testimonial that it works.

  this time they really did call the police on me lol!

  they backed out though, they called, then canceled the call after a while and the police never came to charge me with recording them, pitty really.. http://www.quad-central.com/~dan2007.

  there is the link, i was unable to edit the audio file like i usually do to take out the blank spaces and amplify the volume, so if someone could do that with the wav file on the server that would be great!.

  noooo, it cut off at the end! But I got what you were saying. This has been awesome. Still smirking at how these self-inflated elders were completely messed with. Their heads will be spinning for quite some time. Looking forward to future projects. You rock, man.

  i rented a house in the late !970's and the contents in the home were given to me.. it happened to be books: ( making my life happy, revelation, children bible stories, listening to the great teacher ) i was enjoying the reading.. -----------------------------------.

  a few years later began to notice awake magazines in doctor offices, and other public places and read them and enjoyed them.. ------------------------------------.

  late 1980's my 7th son was 2 yrs.

  So, if the answer to what congregation you attend is "not applicable", does that mean you're baptized but not attending any KH? Are you skipping meetings?? Shame. And associating with known DF and DA people here? Shame again.

  wondering everyone's best hypocrisy stories.. one of many for me is an elder who told me he doesn't think gambling is wrong and smoking the "odd" cigar is fine.

  Nothing real exciting, as this is conservative Iowa...

  PO's wife argued with the cable company about the porn movie on her bill, saying there was NO WAY it was correct. Yeah uh huh... you have what, THREE chances to click out of one of those on PPV, right? (I wouldn't know. ) The PO is a creep -- got some issues with sex, that is obvious from his goofy comments from the speaker stand ("Esther was probably a good-lookin woman" re: swimwear- "leave nothing to the imagination" and a plethora of other squicky, inappropriate comments in his talks)

  Siblings in the KH -- one DA'd a few years ago. Decided to come back (stupid girl) and sat with her parents as she was returning. Her brother was DF a couple years after. He was NOT allowed to sit with his parents as it would "stumble" some. Whatever.
