  I'm sorry but I have to disagree with some here. I have a attended a few Bible Student meetings, and found them much more free-thinking than the Witnesses; it was actually refreshing. Some emphasize CT Russell more than others, and some not at all.

  One thing I really apprecited was their use of the phrase, "we would like to suggest" this or that. So one can take it or leave it, however the spirit guides them. As opposed to WT Society's forced acceptance of whatever they say.

  I personnaly suspect CT Russell was murdered.

  i was reading aldous huxley's brave new world and thinking,this is what society is becoming.especially since nowadays people want to be distracted with the use of the internet and social networking sites such as facebook and twitter.i like how it says " what we desire will destroy us" because in the grand scheme of things.

  it most likely will and that is a very disturbing thoought.it is shocking how he wrote the book in 1932 and it was written during the 1920's, all of what he is sayiing is becoming a scary reality..

  I remember it being SO common for kids to get the living you-know-what beat out of them at the Kingdom Hall. I remember certain poor kids in particular. This was a long time ago, but I would be willing to bet that those "kids" are no longer in that organization. hopefully they're not in jail, mental hospitals, or worse as a result.

  Free at last! Thank God!

  was at the kingdumb hell yesterday after a gap.. paragraph 11 planted the seed in the sheeples' heads for this.. remember last weeks study, where martha was quoted as saying: "i know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.

  " (jo 11: 24) the term "last day" was explained as applying to the millennium, in the same way as "judgment day" for those receiving an earthly resurrection.. now for paragraph 11 - i noticed some bemused faces, as usually john 6 is avoided in articles discussing earthly resurrection:.

  a quick search on my 2003 wt cd reveals over 14,000 references just to satan's name..what is the worst thing satan could do to a jw?
