i did not realize that they were symptoms that something was wrong with my cat -but i did notice that my cat was breathing a little differently for a period of about a few days.
i also noticed prior and after to that, that on occasion, my cat would cry at the litter box, but that was a very seldom event.. anyway, about a week ago i noticed the symptom that my very loved cat was breathing heavy.
so i called a taxi and i was going to rush him to emergency room for cats.
I am so very sorry for your loss. My pet of choice has always been a cat. After you mourn your beloved companion, perhaps you can take Ruth Gordon's advice to Harold in the movie HAROLD and MAUDE: "Go and love some more." Lots of kitties out there that need a good home and someone to love!

as we all know, armageddon was just around the corner in 1974. at the district conventions that year, it was announced that there would be two special meetings during the month of september; one would be for interested people (e.g., bible studies, family members, inactive, etc.
), and the other would be for baptized publishers.
these were to be held in place of the service meetings for the two weeks, iirc.

I suspect that there are a large proportion in our age group ( 50+ years old) that suffer from the ill effects of this 'psychological torture' masquerading as 'spiritual instruction'. Not only did we get force fed this crap at the meetings and assemblies but many of our parents had their own 'private versions' that they projected on us. One day my mentally unbalanced, spiritual giant, pioneer mother decided to take me for a ride and 'fill me in' on what awaited a little boy of 8 or 9 years old. I was told that if I saluted the flag at school, Jehovah sees me and he will destroy me in the fast approaching Armageddon. When, NOT IF, the governmental authorities take me away from my family during the persecution, I must remain firm. If I 'give in' and do something bad, Jehovah will destroy me and I will never see her or my brothers and sisters again! I feel sorry for and my heart goes out to each and every person (still inside or escaped from this religion) that was subjected to this mind torturing, soul wounding bullshit!
