Love is always on their terms, not unconditional. So NO they don't really love others.

Do Jehovah's Witnesses REALLY Love Others?
by minimus inthink about it---witnesses proclaim that their identifying mark is love.
they are the "most loving organization in the world".
they personify christ and are the only "true christians".

My first post
by Dianna ini was kind of skeptical about registering or even posting anything on this site but after a long struggle of going back and forth and after talking to a friend telling me that it would be good for me i decide to do it.
i grew up in a jehovah witness house hold.
it all was great a had a wonderful childhood but everything went down hill when i started to have my own opinion on things.

Welcome Dianna. I know you're feeling down now, but it WILL pass. Freedom has a funny way of making you happy. You will make new friends and you'll learn to cope with the way your family are treating you. It's always very difficult at first, but ride the storm and you will be happy.

Help needed desperately !!!!!
by confused and lost inhi,i have just registered here because i need someone to talk to in a way that wont end me up before a jc.i have been reading a lot of stuff recently about the wts being false prophets and the like.i also hate the fact that there are so called "spiritual" men out there who abuse their positions to molest children.i have been a witness now for 20yrs but instead of feeling spiritually alive i feel totally and utterly confused.i do not know which way to turn.anyone out there who feels the same ?
share your thoughts with me ..please and help me unburden myself to someone.
thanks for reading.

Welcome Confused and lost. The reason you feel so confused is because you are in a religion that claims to be the truth but actually isn't.
It takes us a long time to come to that realisation (35 years for me) but the majority on this board are of like mind. If you want proof you'll find it here. Just keep reading, there are some very intelligent people on this board.

Fade Unsuccessful
by FadingELD ini am new to this site but have been lurking for a while now.

Welcome fadingELD (and google).
I wish you all the best in whatever you decide to do. I think if you get df'd and have a fantastic relationship with your df'd sons, your wife will soon be so jealous of your relationship with them that I think you may be able to get her round to your way of thinking.
Softly softly catchy monkey - as the saying goes.

What was your first car?
by nicolaou inmine was an old fiat 127, i bought it 1983 and it was at least fifteen years old then!
the seats were vinyl and there were no rear seatbelts so i could send my girlfriend and her sister flying with each bend in the road!
it wouldn't go above 55mph and was rattling like rollercoaster when it finally got there.. the rear window fell out and it finally croaked in puff of blue/black smoke.

I had a little mustard coloured Mini 850. I even remember the number plate - CDD 527K.
I loved that car and I named her Fifi.

Resurrection soon after armageddon or 1000 years after it?
by greendawn incan anyone explain why the wts claims that faithful dubs will be resurrected soon after armageddon when to the contrary the book of revelation plainly states that the resurrection of anyone other than the saints will occur after 1000 years?
that is 1000 years after the saints begin ruling on earth which will occur at or shortly before armageddon.
let's remember that rightly or wrongly most dubs do not believe that they are in the class of the saints or anointed as they call them.

Did anyone stop to think for a minute. The words in Revelation are all gobble-de-gook. NONE of it is actually going to happen.
There will be no Armageddon.
There will be no thousand year rule.
There is no Satan.
There will be no resurrection.
There will be no paradise.
There will be no happy ever after.
Just enjoy life now and put that Bible down. It will drive you crazy!!
