  Anyone can give a quick overview of Circuit Assembly?

  mine was this weekend but so is the annual music festival so sacrifices had to be made.

  i know there were some threads on this already but i can't seem to find them.. anyways, i know dear old mom will be there to ask me: "what points did you bring home from the assembly.".

  come to think of it: i don't even know what the theme was this year!???

  Worst/strangest bookstudy group

  ok, i was reading the "worst bookstudy book" thread, and it got me thinking about the worst book study groups i went to.

  once, my dad was study conductor and the study was held in an elderly sister's home.

  there was antique furniture and doilies on the tables.

  The worst one was in this elders house when I was growing up. He had 9 kids and they had only one working bathroom. There was NEVER any toilet paper, soap or a hand towel to dry your hands on.

  The couches smelled like pee and you often had ants running over your toes in the summer time. Oh I forgot to add that there was never any air conditioning either.

  i put in an offer on a house on its way to a sheriff's sale.

  the sale is the 17th this month.. if i close on the house next friday the 14th, ... i get it for a steal of a deal.

  My fiance and I are going to look at a house for the second time on Saturday and then put our offer in. I hope I'll be doing the "happy dance" next week!!

  JW Dating site snippets...

  so, i received an automatic email this morning from a jw dating site i had put a profile on while i was still in.lol i was about to delete it...but then curiosity got a hold of me.

  (they even gave me back to password i had completly forgot.

  )lol so i logged on, checked out my profile...was very surprised that no where did i mention the name jehovah (like everyone did).

  you know.... one of those jws who nods slightly in agreement with a point the speaker makes?

  i've seen this lots at assemblies etc but we do have a local nodder; we call her bonnie bobble-head cuz she reminds me and the kids of the bobble-heads for car dashes.

  My mom is a big nodder . . she also had this red pen that she would hit us over the head with if she caught us sleeping at the assembly.

  My memory may be wrong, but about 12-14 years ago wasn't there an article in the Awake on diarrhea? I remember this old sister making a comment about how "she couldn't get enough of the magazine" because she was placing so many. . . the whole KM was practically rolling!

  I always tried to present the Awake to the householder first . .because it didn't seem as nutty as some of the Watchtower covers.

  i bet you are shaking in your socks when you reflect on the following spiritual food dispensed by those loving brothers in new york:.

  Like many, I was afraid for a while after I got disfellowshipped.

  Everytime a natural disaster would occur I would think "oh man . .this is it . .Armageddon is coming!"

  I don't think that way anymore thank goodness!

  i'm 16 years old and have been raised as a jehovahs witness.

  i'm currently considered a very spiritual brother, and have an assignment comming up for the memorial.

  but i realized it was all a bunch of crap last year at some time.

  worst Bookstudy book

  what is the book you liked the least studying at the bookstudy?

  for me it was the isaiah books.

  side question which book did you like the best?

  The Revelation Book for me . . but the neat thing was that once you covered it at the book study, then the next two times it was covered you didn't need to waste time "studying" since it was already underlined and everyone would think you did a good job at your homework.
