  My Wife Just Called Me...

  she found an envelope with my name and "personal & confidential" typed on it taped to the door of our apartment.

  i asked her to open it and read it, and evidently there is some evidence of apostacy that they want to review with me this saturday (4-21-06) at 7:30 pm.. the funny thing is that i have not been to a meeting since 1993, the last time i was at a circuit assembly or district convention was 1995!

  i know that i have been spotted going to my church (3 blocks from the king-dumb hell).

  I think KW's idea is great!

  But honestly, why go thru it. It has caused you enough angst as it is. Why give them the power over you to even show up, waste an evening. It is not like they want to ask you if someone stumbled you and you need help returning. You know that all it will do is rial you up and cause you to get frustrated. I would ignore it and go about your life. They have already made up their minds. You are no going to change their minds and they are not going to change yours. Pearls before swine, pearls before swine, people. They are idiots, do you really want to spend an hour out of your day with idiots. If so, they have fun. But again, I like KW's idea better. Now that would be a head game to play on them.

  Holy Crap! My bank account has been emptied by fraudsters!!!!

  a few hours ago i went to put some fuel in my motor and used my debit card to pay as i always do.

  "sorry sir, your card has been declined".

  how embarrasing is that?!

  I had my identity stolen and it was so horrible to straighten all of that out. Even though it was several years ago, I still have a fraud alert out there. That way no one can apply for credit in my name and get it immediately, it takes 48 hours with a call to my home phone to confirm I applied for something.

  i have certain things that make me say ahhh - here my moments:.

  between my hair (which is very long) and my cat's hair (which is long) and a messy boyfriend, my condo gets out of control dirty.

  there are times when i have to tear it apart to clean it because it feels yucky.

  I am sure that regardless of our stories, we have all experienced lifes ups and downs, it is what we do with our experiences that allow us to be more then just mere animals inhabiting the earth. That is why I like to sit and think about the things that make me happy as opposed to obsessing over those things that make me unhappy. That is why I appreciate my ahh moments that much more.   I believe that women only get BETTER with age as we discover who we are and what are needs are. When we are fulfilled (as in our ahh moments) then those are around are able to benefit from our peacefulness.

  Yes, kids can be included in the ahh moments. I love the smell of a baby. I love the little toes and little hands. I love when a toothless baby smiles or coo's. I love when that baby grows up to the point that they still find new things amazing and want to share it with you. I love when a close friend's daughter spends the day with me, drawing pictures and telling me stories with amazed eyes as it I surely most not have known this information until she told me. Those are ahh moments. But I also love getting home to a quiet (turn off the ESPN on the t.v. messy boyfriend and talkative kitty who is happy I am home and follows me around "talking" to me telling me about her day).

  i am a non jw, who has met a jw and we have been online chatting for last 9 months.

  i have fallen in love with him.

  he has been trying to push me away lately, and finding out one of the reasons is because of the religious background.

  Broken Hearted, if you believe this man was sent from God, then you must feel that it is God's will however it turns out. If you believe in destiny, then let it all play out and see what happens. Religion is a matter of choice. But you need to know that the JW religion is very black and white/ right and wrong. People in the religion are not individuals, they are part of a collective. There is little individuality within the religion. If you feel that you need to be part of something and want people to tell you what you should and should not think or do, again the religion is right for you. Each person is different and you may not have a problem with that and may feel you need direction. If you are a women who has a mind, the religion (nor the JW guy) will respect you. This religion is very harsh on women. Do not be blinded on what you think is love. Be careful in to giving out your heart to freely as he is obviously not as willing to give his heart to you (as shown in his going to his elders and "confessing" and pulling away from you) and this will be the pattern that you will encounter for the rest of your life with this man because of the religion.

  I'm sick of the witnesses bragging about their memorial attendance!!!

  i'm growing tired of the phone calls from witness relatives proclaiming how wonderful it was that we had 203 in attendance, or 180, or 265, or whatever the number happens to be.

  for whomever is calling.

  someone from my old, old congregation informed me they had 203 and this person was just giddy about it.

  I am sorry how is it any different then having to hear on the news that a certain baptist church was packed to the gills on Easter Sunday; or a famous catholic church was standing room only. It is all the same. In my case, no one called me, and I suppose if they did I would have have answered the phone had I known it was only to brag about the JW Easter sunday fest. I was tired of the news of all the Easter celebrations being news worthy. That to me is a joke. It was not only here but BBC world news also highlighted it as well. Can anyone explain to me why it is news worthy?

  Between my hair (which is very long) and my cat's hair (which is long) and a messy boyfriend, my condo gets out of control dirty. There are times when I have to tear it apart to clean it because it feels yucky. Like tonight. I have been away traveling for work and returned to a very messy place (thank you kitty and messy boy friend). So I was a terror, I took everything down to the bare bones and cleaned it. With the exception of laundry and dishes (in the dishwasher which is currently going) my place is clean. This is my ahhhhh moment. I will sit down with a book and be able to relax. Which is also another ahhh moment. With another being, climbing into bed with clean sheets. Life is good. I love my ahhh moments.

  So what is your ahhh moment?
