July Kingdom Ministry
by CloseTheDoor inthe july 2015 kingdom ministry says jws can't do international outreach through the internet, but to instead, point someone in the direction of jw.org site.. it's just another form of control.
the individual publisher is forced to send the interested one to a website fully controlled by the borg.. .

There are some very excited publishers who don't seem to mind giving up entire weekends.
That's because they usually have no life.

"The organisation is imperfect, but it doesn't affect my relationship with Jehovah"
by Alive! ini've noted active, devoted jw's state the above.. and, it's not a problem for me to remain trusting of god, i just don't trust religions or men.. recently, a member of this forum stated that he remains an active jw, in the family of god's people, wanting to encourage and do good - whilst recognising that the pastoral leaders (the gb) have shipwrecked the faith of many, being unsound scripturally etc, etc.. stop and think about this - the bible says to not follow after those who lie and hurt the faith of "little ones".. the pharisees were accused of traversing over lands and expending much energy to make a single convert - only for that convert to end up worse of than he started off with.. it's one thing to not believe this is the 'truth' and feeling the awful pressure of managing ones life, trying not to lose ones family.. it's quite another thing to declare oneself to be a christian believer of god's jw household, and somehow believe the god of love would use corrupt liars to parade as jesus' brothers in the urgency of last days.
really?
and, to then visibly promote faith in corrupt men, and try to bring converts into a place where the rulership is wrong.. some of us are dying from hurt here.......give me a break..

It is understandable what you say Alive. Some have various reasons for remaining in the Org, including myself. Some actually do believe it is "God's household", some don't. Some believe the teachings, but don't participate in the practices.
For a different view, an active Witness maintains this website, which he believes the Governing Body is the evil slave, and that JW's make up part of the "household of God." http://perimeno.ca/ Lots of articles in defense of some core teachings, but against the GB.

I think the Japanese branch is taking care of "relief efforts" for Nepal.
I won't give to WT for such things nor the Red Cross (but I will give blood).

JWs are being told Watchtower is financially strapped because they forgave Kingdom Hall mortgages!
by PokerPlayerPhil inhere's why the governing body did that little line on jw broadcasting, i have a source still inside new york and being as sneaky as ever, the watchtower is claiming they need the cash because they forgave the kingdom hall mortgages!
not all the kingdom halls are hitting the targeted monthly donation-revenue range, they are still asking other kingdom halls to pony up cash for kingdom halls that can't afford the "recommended donation rate".
pure evil, that's the jehovah"s witness watchtower theocratic war in action!

The BOE had to give a monthly talk in our Kingdom Hall saying "If we were a business, the utility company would have shut off the power, water and heating and foreclose our Kingdom Hall because we are not cutting it!'
I have heard this so many times in my cong. and others.

My Last thoughts in Field Service Before the Elderly Man Shat Himself and Pissed his pants in My New Car!
by PokerPlayerPhil indebating this was going to be the last day in field service was not hard after dealing with a nasty mess because i was grouped with the misfits of the kingdom hall!
i was reading this website on my phone while something started to stink in my car and one of the weird kids nobody wanted to work with yelled "hey, you leaking all over my seat, he was freaked out too!
" the older, retired elder, his pioneer daughter had forgotten to put his depends on and that became my problem.

I feel sorry for the older man and blame those who were supposed to be taking care of him in the first place.
Never had anyone "mess" in my cars. Have had one car's interior destroyed by kids and their bubble gum and cutting a hole in the seat, picking out the insides and then stuffing it up his nose so far no one could get it out. Off to the ER with that one. (He wasn't harmed)
Elders can be very selfish and self righteous, "asking" publishers to use their cars and to go in dangerous areas whey they (the elders) themselves would never wish to go. -

That one will probably be hard to come by. Would probably cost a "pretty penny."
I did see one at a brother's home; he collected Watchtower memorabilia, but I have never seen another one.

Who compared the KH donation arrangement to that of a never ending mortgage?
by Boeing Stratofortress init was one of the commenters replying to another thread, but i cannot find it.
it was a great rant & well thought out.
it basically put in simple terms how the donation arrangement is like being forgiven of your 10 year mortgage, then being told you should 'donate' an amount equal to your monthly mortgage payment, but indefinitely.. i'd really like to find that person's reply, so i can use the same logic with some of my family members.

The organization is desperate for money and they're running out of scam ideas.
