Things are getting so advanced so quickly, it is both exciting and scary at the same time.
The world of the "Jetsons" may not be as far away as we think. Computers are the like are getting easier and cheaper by the day, and what they can do is multiplying faster than we can imagine. I think the next couple of decades are going to be awesome!!

by JNS2 inafter all the years of having it drilled in my head that demons could attach themselves to an object i now wonder: is that just more jw bull****?
am i still reacting to the years of brainwashing or is there really a concern about what one brings into their home?.

Me personally, would never bring anything into the house that I felt was occult related, whether or not I was a witness. But to assume that just because someone was a "wordly" person therefore their belongings were possibly demonic is just plain stupid.

top speed serena williams clains she has no memory of swearing during her tight australian open first round match despite being fined $2500 for the offence yesterday.
williams was fined for an 'audible obscenity ' while she came back from a set downto overcome emilie loit, of france , on tuesday.

These girls are not real witnesses. Are we really supposed to believe that these young sisters are good example witnesses going to meetings and field service, and giving answers at the hall?
These girls are completely oblivious to the real "witness" world.

Society's damage limitation article.
by dmouse introubled by reports of the very problems that were supposed to be only the mark of false religions peadophilia (and hiding it) and hypocrisy (supporting the un) many honest hearted jws, it seems, have slowed down their meeting attendance and field ministry.
what has the society done to calm these very real worries concerning actual, not imagined, problems.. .

I can see so many in the hall just sitting there nodding their heads while reading this.
It reminds me when people first started studying, and were told that a sign of it being the truth was that so many would tell them to stop studying. Any sort of thing that got in the way of attending meetings and being a witness, such as work, friends, spouse, etc was a sign that it was the true religion. Well, these things all happened in life anyways, but now that they were told to look out for it, then the student would pay closer attention, and think to themselves, they were right. They predicted all my friends would tell me to get out, therefore it is the truth.
Now the WTS will be saying, we predicted persecution towards us, and here is proof. The media, and the apostates are attacking. We predicted, now we are vindicated!
What a crock.

Paradise Lost

i can still smell the pugnent floral breezes and experience being mesmerized into hypnosis watching the white linen sheets dance to an unheard accompaniment on the clothes line.
mother seemed like a god to me the way she hung that laundry so effortlessly and happily.

Wow!! That was very strange looking at all those pictures. Flashback to some memories I really didn't think I wanted to look back on.
Some of those pictures are so long ago, but amazingly still vivid in my mind. I recall them exactly. How scary is that? When you really think about it, those pictures are horrible. I must have been in grade school when I saw those.

Woman Are Inferior?

we all know that woman are just as intelligent as men, and some could even be good elders.

The bible was written 2,000 years ago, so it is going to sound like what it was back then. I think the issue is really if the WTS treats the women like they are inferior. I think the answer to that is yes.
