The body guards started after the charges of sedition were made by the US government against Rutherford and resumed after he was released from prison. There were some nuts that wanted to take the law into their own hands and that is why the need for body guards occured.

My "Road Rage" Expericence......I Was truly Out of Control!
by new boy inabout 2 months ago, i had a 7:00 p.m. listing apointment meeting, about 20 miles from my home...i almost called to cancel and i should have......but i didn't.
i had the worst case of indigestion in my life.......during the meeting my stomack make so much noice....it was truly embarrassing.....something was truly wrong down there.. on the way back, 5 miles from my home it happen........ my body said we are getting rid of this stuff right now!!
!......my brain said we can't do that here.. we need a the bathroom now.....just then the traffic slowed........to 15 mph.. if i could have pulled of the road at that minute and "gone" i would have......but i was in the far right hand lane of a 3 lane highway, bumper to bumper.. i was sure i was going crap my pants.........i was screaming.......and praying to every god i know and some i didn't.. just then the traffic opened up.............i got off the highway...........i was 10 blocks from my home.. i happened to get behind some old lady driving 5 mph.........."haaaaaaaa... shhhhhiiiiiiiiittttttt.... i cursed, i screamed and i laid on the horn.........i finally passed her going about 60 mph.......and ran two stop signs......parked in my garage.........ran to the elevator.......i almost "lost it" waiting for it......... ran down the hall.......hit the door...........i was screaming the whole way...............i almost made it too................i was the biggest mess i ever had to clean up in my life....almost yaked twice.. the moral of the story is this..........sometimes things are not always what they seem......that people in "road rage" are not always some insane crack heads........sometimes they are nice middle aged business men, who can't eat sourkraut and beer together........or they might be some young man trying to get his poor wife to the hospital..............so be kind to the crazies.

I would rather know my doctors position on personal issues. I think the resentment of a doctor being forced to provide medical care to someone they hate would lead to poor medical treatment. This is not like someone pumping the gas to your car and puts the patient in jeporady. The only thing this lawsuit will do is force doctors with prejudice underground and lead to problems like lost charts or tests due to resentment.

I need some help....I don't understand
by confusedCatholic8 ini recently started dating a woman that has stopped practicing the religion of jehovahs witness.
i am very confused on so many things that this religion believes.
i would like some input from anyone out therer that can help me...i am a catholic and i have certain things about my religion i don't believe but i dont understand the whole idea that if you leave the jehovahs witness and have been baptized you are no longer allowed to talk to your family and friends of this religion.

Well if she is happy to be out of the religion then don't worry about it. Just because a family doesn't talk to each other doesn't mean anything as long as she doesn't want to go back to the JW's. The problem will occur if she goes back to the JW's and gives you an ultimatuim JW's or else. I avoid personal associations with JW's for this reason because the social pressure by the family to return to the group is so strong that many times this causes problems in relationships.
I shared an apt with a JW that was disfellowshipped from the JW's and then he returned to the flock and all hell broke loose about not associating with non-JW's, then he let his JW friend sleep on the couch and others were coming in and out of the apt with a copy of the key he gave them. I moved out after 30 days. Today he is serving a fifty year prison sentence, so karma always comes back to haunt you!
