  The intelligence services of the Soviet Union spied on everyone and everything. I don't know how active the JW's were in the USSR, but I'm sure they were watched like a hawk and members punished for any transgression against the USSR.

  i have a lot of consolation magazines that i could scan.. if you want a particular issue for research, tell me and i will scan it, and you can tell to the board more what are your research, so everybody will have more insight.. .

  here is one of this magazine concerning the madison square garden incident.

  this incident is connected with the olyn moyle's trial and it is interessant to see the vision of rutherford concerning this.. he tried in this magazine to excuse the usher, because what he said on stage was "the word of jehovah", so nobody must stop the "spreading of the word of god".

  Looking for scan of Dec. 20, 1944 Consolation on Moyle case

  does anyone have a copy of the december 20, 1944 consolation (page 21) that gives the watchtower society's version of what happened with the moyle legal case?

  it ends up explaining that they paid $15,000 to moyle.

  if so, could you share the scan here?

  i was on amazon.com today and noticed that they were selling a collection of rutherford's books on cd.

  there was also the watchtower from 1920-1929 and a selection of yearbooks on cd.

  they were all being sold under the name of research applications.

  i must tell you an interesting story from today.

  gary and i went thru a drive-thru for breakfast and were sitting at our local park (in the car) enjoying our high fat, high cholesterol breakfast when, low and behold, here comes a group of jw's sloooooowly checking out the area.

  (this is right by the river on the green circle trail, which is a favorite place for joggers, walkers, bikers, etc.

  she had a major cramp in her left leg and she laid in pain for about 5 minutes on the tennis court, lucky for her there was a 1 and half hour rain delay and she was able to recover.

  Why, why can't a girl start the lawn Mower?

  ok, my husband is in bed, there is just enough light to mow the lawn.

  the gas tank has just been refilled, and there is fresh oil.damn it, i have primed it as required, and have pulled and pulled and pulled the stupid string.. why cant the damn thing start with out a guy???

  my husband is now asleep and the damn lawn is 5 inches tall.. god help me!!!!!!!!!.

  Are you trying to start it on the lawn or on concrete. You should never start a lawn mower on the lawn.
