How is it that you have to worry about talking to apostates if you have Jehovah and truth on your side?
This really does make me think......and I think this will be one of my opening scriptures when I finally start asking questions overtly.

This is an odd example of a Witness at my door, any one heard of this?
by free2beme inabout two weeks ago i was in the front yard on a saturday and washing one of the cars.
i looked down the street and saw two woman in dresses walking from house to house, with a young child in a suit.
of course, i knew they were witnesses and i knew they would be at my door soon.

Is This Kind of Behavior at a Concert Acceptable?? Need Your Opinions.

when the next to the last act appeared, james mcmurtry, the son of writer larry mcmurtry and a hell of a songwriter/musician, his fans were invited to "dance in front of the stage and in the aisles.

What's your nickname?
by Country Girl ineveryone seems to have some kind of nickname or pet name that their family, friends, or spouse/significant other calls them.
some of the names were acquired in childhood and just "stuck" and some were acquired later in life.
what is/was your pet name, and is there an interesting story behind it?

When I was young I was named Jaws by a guy who worked for my dad cause I asked so many questions. I wouldn't shut up. He was operating a front-end loader / back-hoe and I just sat there asking him "what does this do?" "what does that do?"
He was really nice about it but I bet it bugged him to death...
I am still a big mouth....but the name never made the jump from my family to my friends.

1000 Year Reign of Christ - A little help please

i have been looking at some of russell's charts and such and it is indicated that the millinial reign of christ would have begun in 1874 new understanding 1914..... .
does this mean that we are now living nearly a 100 years into the 1000 year reign?

If it is sold through an MLM it is absolutly a scam and has no real benefits only psychologicaly induced (placibo) effects.
Any valid product would not touch MLM with a 100 foot pole.

1. calculate the electrical properties of the ark of the covenant.
2. build a replica ark and determine if it operates within the anticipated performance range.

I doubt they did the ark thing at the same time, although I did see the episode, they were able to get enough current to tingle I think. They shocked Adam by hooking up a electric fence transformer(?) to the ark though.

P.S. There was a guy about 15 years ago that patented a beverage can which had CO2 in a small container inside which would be released when opened, this would allow you to have a cold coke without refridgeration. I guess it was just too expensive for mass market, the article that I read said that we would see them and that the guy got the idea from cooling beer when in the army.....I get my best ideas when I am drinking ;) too!!!
