  i wanted to throw this out there just to make sure i got my facts straight.

  i have been researching this but i am still trying to weed out those thoughts planted during a life as a jw.

  i will just ask the questions and not cloud with my own view but would like the input from you guys....girls too!

I will just ask the questions and not cloud with my own view but would like the input from you guys....girls too! SCRIPTURALLY.....What is the "Good News" that is to be preached? SCRIPTURALLY.....Is there any support for including a message of warning or destruction? Thanks for your help.... On a side note, I don't know how some of you brainiacs use a computer, I would have thought that when you start thinking your head would create so much static electricity that it would burn out the motherboard? LOL....I know it is corny but I just had to write down the image I had in my head. Thanks -r

  my fathers arguement is always that the fds is not inspired so their humanity causes them to get things wrong.

  they are merely spirit directed.

  i realized a main flaw in this arguement last night.

  u1, Yeah, this is a really irritating thing to try to discuss with witnesses, they will insist that there is a difference but can't explain it. I have asked what the difference is and they say that the bible writers were given the info directly, but today they are just guided by the spirit but men can make mistakes. I return then with... "How do we know then what is from God and what is just fanciful imaginative mistakes of men?" Yeah, that one they can't answer. They believe that God is directing them, so they MUST me right....it is the same reason a gambler will keep betting even though they are loosing. -r

  i was df'd in 1976 and lived my whole life thinking the jws have the truth and i just could not live up to the standard and was doomed to die at the big a without question.

  i've been married for 2 years and i should have been more open to the board.

  however, i'm getting a divorce on sunday, the same time i have to go back to the meetings with her.

  I am having a difficult time in my marriage as well......My wife is a great person....just misguided.

  It is hard when you have a person you care about but they are blinded by the propaganda.

  Can a person be mad at "Jehovah and Jesus" and not be committing Blasphemy?

  i was always taught as a little child that to be mad at jehovah and jesus was like commiting blaspemy.

  so i held all my anger up until now that i am out of the wts and out of christianity(churches) and i am just furious at jehovah and jesus.

  i think they play many games with people that worship them.

  Draw on paper then scan it in.

  Paint.net is free and has a lot of good features.

  I think it would be a good place to start before you go out and buy a professional tool.

  You may later decide you need something with more features.

  PSP, Corel....these all have a big learning curve.
