  the hypocrisies of one more organization that hides behind the curtain of religious freedom will then be public record.

  Let's see, hundreds praised for being baptised as minors, after being indoctrinated as children, then shunned by families and supposed life-long friends as adults after being disfellowshipped for questioning the U.N. involvement and other hypocrisies. (The judge should find it interesting that the WTS teaches its members that the U.N. is the Beast of Revelation)

  Let's see, others shunned after church disfellowshipped them, according to WTS standards, for allowing un-baptized infants and children to receive life-saving blood transfusions.

  Let's see, loss of consortium of mother after she commited suicide after being shunned after being disfellowshipped for divorcing her abusive husband.

  Let's see...........

  WTS: "Your honor, these alleged disfellowshippings for simply asking questions of the church, or saving the lives of their children are exaggerated! We have quite a few members that have testified that we don't easily disfellowship. In fact, we have, as evidence, several videos made by our members, in good standing, from prison."

  edited yet again to add: does anyone remember the old Dannon yogurt case, actually Dannon settled out of court to avoid the publicity. The lady claimed that the berry yogurt had a piece of a bug-shell in a piece of berry. This was not disputed because bugs in berries are not uncommon. Anyway, she claimed that eating a bug part caused such emotional trauma that her hair began falling out, etc. That bug was a walk in the park compared to the WTS..........

  also, ive been considering attending the march on the 27th but have had no reply from bowen (or anyone else) in regards to the several emails ive sent.

  hey robdar, I've never had the pleasure of posting with you, but it sounds like you've had a pretty shitty day.....for all it's worth, I've had days when I wondered why I was even on this forum, dealing with these, whatever these people , were.....what brought my perspective back was to go to the beach and watch the waves. Or to sit back, kick up my feet with a glass of good wine and listen to Sting's "A Thousand Years" on the Brand New Day CD. How ironic, a thousand years, huh ? I haven't been here long, but I've noticed that we're all wound a bit tight. I'm not even an apostate and this religion has had that effect on me. Thank god we've all got only the JW issue to deal with and are not in Afghanistan.....Peace to you Robdar

  actually naked, I'm not an apostate and I have no problem posting here.......but if you want to know if this forum is considered "apostate," just ask comfy or your local Kingdom Hall.......They're the ones that insist that everybody here is an apostate, not Simon.

  your ramblings do reveal your agenda bomfy, but why are you concerned in the first place that "witnesses of Jehovah" are lurking on an apostate forum ? and if they are, according to you, their "loyal integrity" would keep them from "swallowing up" lies......so what seems to be the problem bomfy?

  being in the org for a very long time i have seen people do all kinds of things .

  one thing that i have never really seen discussed is how common it is for an elder to have a mistress in the background.

  oh he may not be actually sleeping with her, but i personally for over 20 years was a second "wife "to an elder.

  A woman who demands a man have sex only with her, and just suppress his needs when she is having her time, or is cranky, or is just not "in the mood" is being selfish and short-sighted.

  such an easy solution.... if a man has such a sexual appetite, why does he commit to such a selfish woman who expects faithfulness? why marry at all ? Or why not marry instead, an open-minded, unselfish woman who also enjoys sleeping with other people?
