Those Welsh ones are a bit hard to understand like. We have a Welsh family stay with our family every Convention. Rarely get a word. Though I do recall Welsh mother telling a story they told about some lying apostates protesting about them covering up for pedophiles at their local Conv. (Cardiff. Natch) The Bastards!

we got to talking about how the elders think they are led by holy spirit and crap like that.
it damn near killed me not to say anything but my cousin is a double lifer.

I know a guy who does everything right, but he has a powerful enemy, and sources tell us the enemy has often put the blockers on him getting appointed.
When he complains I say 'Maybe the Holy Spirit is guiding him? The Holy Spirit guides all appointments right?'
That always gets him a bit annoyed! -

JWs are flogging that end of religion tract today!
by headmath ini just drove past my local kh at 10:30 wednesday oct 18 and there was at least 60 cars in the parking lot.
the parking lot is always empty on wednesday mornings but not today.. i had to marvel at the supreme control the wts has over it's members.
the last time i saw a turn out like this was just after the boxing day tsunami.

nothing indicates that this will be happening any time in the near future, but the "new" tract would seem to make people think the "end" will be soon.. has the wts changed this "peace and security" teaching over the past few years?
if they have changed their thinking, how have they worked their way around that one?.

Annie, They issued a 4-page insert in this years September Kingdom Ministry with 'new light' about the Revelation book. They detailed... I think, 70 changes to the Revelation book. The one I posted about 'Peace and Security' was included in that list. That's where I got it.

Suprising statement by C.T.Russell in first Watchtower
