Hmm. I never read much of his stuff. So this is presumption on my part.
He lost his friends and family, and nothing replaced it. And he still must believe in Satan, so he has to go back.
I wish him well.

greg stafford posted on july 1, 2006 that he is returning to the organization.
you can read his article at: http://www.elihubooks.com/greg-stafford/another.htm.
his rationale and logic are most interesting.

brave people!!
not so brave.
Nice piece Cathy! What has been the fall-out? Glen
a comment from a family member about an elder who quit attending meetings the other day was " oh they dont attend anymore, i dont think they're df'd but its known they started their own church".
ok so i didnt think much about it..other than it doesnt seem the sort of thing this fella would ever do.. .
but..today i read a story on freeminds ( will look for the link in a bit and will post it).
Well, I guess I started my own church. I'm a ULC pastor and registered to officiate weddings in Oregon, which I do at no charge. There was a thread on ULC members among XJW's and there's at least 20 of us. I don't know if the Estacada congo knew that. I never did get df'd. I did get accused of "going crazy then apostate" though.
nuclear attack in new york on june 9 or 10?.
the lord's witnesses press release is headlined: "bible scholars predict an 85 percent probability of a nuclear terrorist attack on the un complex in manhattan on june 9 or 10"

So that's why I felt so crappy last week and I thought it was a case of the brown bottle flu that I picked up at Rogue Brewing in Newport Oregon!
Evidently this was an invisible nuclear strike, which makes sense as nuclei are invisible.
I guess we must all be on the paradise earth now. It doesn't seem any different, does it?
is anyone else as fed up with all the hype as i am?
i know dedpoet isn't - he can't wait for it to start, and if he could have got tickets, he would be flying out to germany to watch it.
instead of that, he is planning to watch every england match in his local pub.
The problem (and blessing) of living far away on the left coast of these United States is that there's nothing much being said about the World Cup at all. Even though soccer/football has caught on in schools and the country does field a great womens team, and a fair mens team, the average Oregonian doesn't really give a shit about it. As an ex-pat Brit (and former West Ham supporter) I am inclined to think about it periodically, but the only reason that the subject will ever come up is that my business partner (an ex-pat Aston Villa supporter) will watch every game he can. So that's when I will know it's on.
I never seem to be able to cut and paste stuff. Here it goes again.

dr. shadduck 1928 edition.
i retyped out a couple of pages that were weak, however, if you still need a page or section retyped, then just send me a pm.
any copyrights on this booklet would have been discontinued many years ago.
Thanks! I just love this stuff. I swear I study more than when I was Borg.
excuse my ignorance, and i've read on boards about the us not selling/inviting contributions issue, but do individuals jws in effect pay for the publications they give out?
if so, is that only for their magazines or for hardback books as well?
how is this organised, please?.
When I was Borg, at the time of New Light of Donations (aka skipping sales taxes), I was the accounts servant in my congo. I remember calculating, and presenting in a service meeting part, that based on usage the congregation was returning only 60% to the WTS compared to when it was directly purchased by the publishers.
Don't know what that ratio is now.
