Trade Centers/Pentagon

i was wonderin' how you guys see the conspiracy of the trade center demolition and the attack on the pentagon?

it has been well established now some years later that there must have been detonation devices lining the elevator shafts of the three trade towers that collapsed.

after 1 and 2 fell, no one really ever questioned the way that 3rd one fell in the same manner (pancake collapse style, as a controlled demolition goes).

Lets say something positive about Islam!

i'ii start off.

i have traveled widely in asia and have visited iran on business.

i have always found the average muslim to be extremely hospitable and generous.

I could say many good things about the people who follow Islam, but the same would apply to others. Many Moslems are moderate and open minded and we need to be careful not to see them all as potential terrorists. Islam is just as bad as other religions IMO, what people make out of it is another story.

A jw I recently spoke to used the same reasoning, how if this should ever happen in the congregation the person will surly be d'fed. D'fing shows the we (jw) have the truth, follow the bible and are clean. I had difficulty controling myself and didn't want it to show. I told the jw my families experience... He was shocked that something like that did happen among jws. He wants to talk to his elders and CO (visiting soon). I wonder what they will tell him? No, acctually I don't.

the jw obviously isnt a real jw.. but it was an interesting little movie regardless.. i had to laugh at the jw going nuts.

ok, lets have a discussion about where we all came from, evolution or creation?

(or whatever you beleive in of course) every one put down there main reasons, along with reasonable facts and backup as to why.. .

hopefully this doesnt start to many arguments, lol.. .

After I left the org I was surprised how many religious people accept evolution and the fact that I didn’t realize that when going in FS. My jw thinking was, if you believe in evolution then you can’t have true faith in god. I thought that couldn’t work, but it does for many.

As for me, I believe in evolution but I’m not final about the origin of life, so I appreciate threads like these very much. This one has made me lean more towards becoming an Atheist. Although, IMO, some of the reasoning from pro-creationist found on this thread I don’t find representative for the "informed" creationists.

Looking forward to see how this and the other thread continue.

i have to go around knocking on people's doors and telling them i'm somebody else.. how to get an "x" marked over your house on the "territory map"* every time they say "god," or the ever-popular "jehovah-god" say "..or goddess.
