  first and foremost, i would like to clarify that i am in no way making fun of jack barr.

  he is dead and deserves respect.. .

  that said, the organization he belonged to and led doesn't deserve any respect.

  leolaia, I think at least here the wt is keeping to its roots. Aren't the biblical cherubs of Assyrian, Egyptian and Persian origin? I think recreated immortal king C. T. Russell communicated the artwork to the GB of the 80ties! lol

  in the wt literatur only jehovah, jesus and the 144000 are depicted wearing crowns. According to the wt Barr is now a heavenly king, priest and judge and surpasses the angels, even the seraphim and cherubin.

  miseryloveselders, if I remember correctly I think it was the climax book that said, when the anointed go to heaven they receive a crown and immortality. Thats because they have already proven themselves faithful (James 1:12).
  
  The great crowd and all the resurrected ones receive the right to live forever after the 1000 years, if they prove faithful during the final test.

  jehovah has always been immortal.
  
  jesus received his immortality after his resurecction.
  
  the 1st century anointed and all "little flockies" who died before the end of the gentile times attained the "crown of life" at their resurrection as "first fruits" at the birth of the kingdom in 1914.
  
  anointed who died after 1914 are resurrected within an eye-blink.
  
  the living remnant who make it through the great tribulation will be transformed or raptured sometime into the new system - jehovahs king decides when he calls them up.

  Seraphs, cherubs, angels, resurrected ones, great crowd and animals are always referred to as "creatures" in the wt publications.
  
  only towards the the end of the 1000-year-reign do faithful servants attain the right to "everlasting life" not "immortality". the "princes" receive this right at their resurrection early in the 1000-year-reign.
  
  had adam and eve made it to the tree of life, they would have had the right to live forever, but they would not have been immortal.

  there is some humorous experiences (he laughs a lot) at the beginnging of it, then.

  i remember whilst being on holiday my jw inlaw, him looking at me with utter disgust that simply because he couldnt see images such as these, he felt that they were demonic & therefore i should not be having anything to do with them.

  he said in no uncertain terms that i was to quit touching the unclean thing.. i was allowing satan into my mind !!!
