all things considered, march 4, 2009 judges at the international criminal court in the hague issued an arrest warrant wednesday for the president of sudan, omar hassan al-bashir.

it is the first arrest warrant issued by the icc for a sitting head of state.. the court named bashir as an "indirect (co)-perpetrator" on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity, and the warrant details bashir's alleged crimes against civilians in darfur: murdering, exterminating, raping, torturing and forcibly transferring large numbers of civilians, as well as pillaging their property.. but the court said there was not enough evidence to charge bashir with the crime of genocide.. in sudan, reaction from the government was swift.

Is everyone sick of me and Cameo'd being "Armagedon Junkies"?

me and my friend cameo'd have a condition known as "armagedon junky".....we enjoy speculating on catastrophies ending the world...yes we are ex-witnesses with a problem, we love the thrill of doom.

it was taught to us as kids and we still do it now.. the last few months we brought you "yellowstone park is about to blow"......."foxnews = solar flare will end life"..."mass desease epidemics".....sorry my friend cameo but me and you need to check into a clinic to stop scaring people....but i have to say it was fun for some reason, the thought of throwing it out there to accidentally predict something apeals to me..

Ron Kirk, Obamas New PIC is GREAT and barey underpaid taxes!!!

the tv media really screwd this guy...he is tax paying, charitable saint and i apologize for my other post when i only reported what i heard on tv media.....this guy really only under reported $2600 imo because he donated all of his speach money to a school or charity so it was a wash....now...he is getting screwed by the irs and shoud only have to repay the $2600...sixofnine set me straight when he post this on the other thread.......but i am still pissed about those other guys unless their stories are similar to ron kirks.......details make a huge difference.......... we can all thank sixofnine for posting this on my mean thread, and he did not even post and mean comment to me....just this info:.

washington ron kirk, nominated as u.s. trade representative in the obama administration, owes an estimated $10,000 in back taxes from earlier in the decade and has agreed to make his payments, the senate finance committee said monday.. the committee said the taxes arise from kirk's handling of speaking fees that he donated to his alma mater, and for his deduction of the full cost of season tickets to the dallas mavericks professional basketball team.. the disclosure made the former dallas mayor the latest in a string of top-level obama administration appointees found to have underpaid their taxes, following treasury secretary tim geithner and tom daschle, who withdrew as candidate for health and human services secretary.

nancy killefer, obama's pick for chief performance officer, also bowed out amid tax problems.. white house spokesman ben labolt said kirk was working to clear up "a few minor issues" uncovered by the committee and expressed confidence he would be confirmed.. despite the error, sen. max baucus, d-mont., chairman of the senate finance committee, issued a statement calling kirk "the right person for this job," and said he would attempt to have the nomination moved through the panel quickly.. kirk routinely gave any speaking fees he earned to austin college, the committee said, and did not list them on his tax returns.. instead, the committee said he should have listed the fees as income, then claimed them as charitable donations.

My thoughts exactly.

How can someone like Kirk not know that getting paid for something equals income that must be claimed on your taxes first, AND THEN your charitable contributions are subtracted from that income.

Either he WAS trying to hide something, or he's just stupid.

Either way, he qualifies for any position in the Obaminators administration, so just appoint him already.
