I can't take it anymore!!! * Echoing Scream *

i've been on the atkins diet for several weeks now, and to it's credit i have lost about 20 pounds.

but*, the diet requires you to limit your carbohydrate intake to only 20 grams a day... and i love carbohydrates.

i'm off to the boston pizza restaurant to have a woooonder pizza and a tall beer!!!

Go to atkins web site. You can buy pizza from them and it's low carb. Atkins sells a lot of low/no carb food on their web site but it's very expensive. Some of the GNC's also sell Atkins foods. A guy I work with has been following Atkins religiously for almost a year. He lost about 20 pounds the first few months but hasn't lost anything more.

the next day was going to be tough.

i had to do kind of a portfolio check session with the illustrators and work on some photo retouching for an up coming italian awake magazine and work with someone from the graphics department on the miniaturization issue.

as i walked around a little bit i noticed a large hell scanner sitting in a room with a plastic tarp over it.

as we entered a door of the administration building we did not head to the elevator to take us up the eight floors to the main administration floor.

i looked around the room and asked, "what's up with her?

i was going to work with the elder from hell who ran the photography department.

Help!! I opened my big mouth..........

on a site i said the following....... "just say that they asked you to do something that you know if you did it there was a very likelyhood that you would die for doing it......and they said that it came from god....would you do it" and someone replied ......".you mean like a blood transfusion?

"that person also said that the elders reckon that all that stuff about abuse is a lie now i dont know what to say!

any ideas how i could answere that?

I would ask them if the elders claim these are lies because they want to believe it or if they have proof these testimonies are lies. And for the abusers that were convicted in court, what proof did the elders see that would convince them they are innocent that the jury did not see?

well, it has finally happened.

my jw husband came home last week and told me he is moving out.

it seems he has been talking to the elders, and they feel his spirituality is being threatened (even though i have not insisted he stop going to meetings, i won't allow any jw material in my home because of my children from a previous marriage - i don't want them exposed to it.

Here's a suggestion.

You may want to try and find dirt on the elders or any other important person at the hall. Try this web site www.searchsystems.net You can find court records, real estate records, etc. I found out a Presiding Overseer near me has a history of armed burglaries.

What's the most hypocritical thing(s) you've ever seen a JW do?

up high on my list has to be when a jw co-worker named john fitzgerald tore into me one morning (when i was coming in late for work) for grabbing a quick piece of cake from the lunch room.

turns out, someone in this small little office had brought in the remainder of their birthday cake for folks at work to finish up eating.

john was older than i and a ministerial servant (ooh) and felt it his responsibility to keep me on the straight and narrow.

One of our outside sales agents is a Pioneer and in very good standing. She is the only JW that works for our company and last year she attended out Christmas party and got drunk. She is the only one in her family that is JW and she buys all of her grandchildren Christmas presents.

there was a group of jw ladies handing out the publications on the street the other day.

although i have never been a jw i have had contact through my first husband's family.

what i want to know is this: are they supposed to hand these publications to children?

They do worse than that. Some JW's go to cemetaries and hand out the crap.
