  i had an interesting opportunity/experience today.

  my family and i went out for breakfast.

  what a load of crap- 10 min.

  asking for more contributions in order to build more kh and reminded everyone not only to give cash but don't forget about leaving something for them in your will.. 25 min.

  on the proper use of blood which is also a joke.. the km mentioned you cannot take the four components of blood individually in your body but every component was broken into smaller fractions which is up to you to make a decision to accept or reject.. the common jw does not know their left from their right in making decisions about the dozens of fractions of blood but they will obey blindly and not ask a question because that would be considered apostasy.. .

  the song of solomon is being covered in the kh highlights this week.

  last night, the brother doing this talk went into detail about how this has a greater fulfillment, in that it applies to christ and the loyalty of his bride class, the anointed.

  surely this is just a love story between solomon and the girl?

They are overjoyed in knowing that this dear one, though unseen, is close beside them, calling on them to take courage and conquer the world. Having that unquenchable love, as strong as “the flame of Jah,” for their Shepherd King, they will indeed overcome and be united with him as fellow heirs in the glorious Kingdom of the heavens. Thus will Jah’s name be sanctified!—Matt. 6:33; John 16:33.

  Who Will Be Celebrating Thanksgiving & XMas This Year???

  funny thing about jws----many celebrate thanksgiving but say they're only eating turkey with all the fixings by coincidence.

  god made the food to be consumed everyday.

  then you get witnesses who celebrate christmas the day before or after with all sorts of presents but they won't give it on the 25th because that day is pagan.

  Can someone explain the Bibles inconsistent stance on SEX

  i am trying to define what is acceptable sexual practice and find that using the bible as a guide is quite confusing and contradictory.

  looking at the history of sexual encounters in the bible seems to indicate that multiple sex partners is acceptable, provided you can afford it, yes even in sex the rich have a different set of rules to the poor.

  however adultery seems to consistently be thought of as wrong.. adam and eve - no rule is given, just that a man should stick with his wife.

  It all becomes clear when you realise that, in the Bible, women are property.

  That's why men could have multiple wives, but women could not have multiple husbands.

  That's why it was wrong to have sex with a married woman, she was owned by another man.

  This isn't "morality"--it is property rights.
