Anyone remember the stupidist of talks?
by letsslatejws ini remember a talk being devoted to use of the correct grammatical pronunciation of words.
in fact any elder or brother for that matter who didnt use the correct pronunciation was viewed as illiterate and dorky so the congregation snubbed them.... i remember the word machinations (of the devil) and the emphasis that it should be pronounced mack in nations.... another one was.
behove was meant to be pronounced 'behoooved'.

1st time in 10 years
by Plowboy inthats atleast 10 years..i am dealing with the lil ones and knock knock...i open the door to find a witness at the door all pretty and smiles... told her to hold on one second and made the dog quite down..she started her spill and i was like ..don't mean to be rude but born and raised a jw.
..so first words are ?
?...wait all at once...are you dfed ?...nope i just choose not to go..asked my name a couple times and encouraged me to come to meetings.
