  Inactive, yet shunned!

  my dad (49) (who was an elder for 10 year and hasnt been to the meetings now since april when i stopped going) sent a message to a younger unbaptised brother (19) in my congregation to see if they would like to get together and jam on their guitars.

  the younger brother responded that he would like to but since my dad hasnt been to the meetings in a long time he feels its innapropriate.. needless to say my dad was a little pi**ed but at the same time he cant understand how he is also now being shunned despite the fact that he isnt even disfellowshipped.

  why do these people show such conditional love when jesus taught the absolute opposite?.

  Is the WT a "spiritual paradise"?

  why is it near impossible to find a person in this "spiritual paradise" that has the "good news according to paul" in their hearts and on their lips?.

  A pity you didn't give the explanation of the picture!

  "Which of these two sheep is acceptable to Jehovah as a sacrifice?"

  Jehovah only accepts perfect items as sacrifices; so it should be the one standing.

  (S ince they have now removed the mag from jw.org my explanation might be slightly inaccurate.)

  don't kid yourself, even the gestapo, in internal documents found after the war, found the magazines to be well crafted in the field of propaganda.. the latest deceptions?

  well, there's the nov. awake magazine with its cover asking, "is belief in a creator reasonable".

  one of the possible objections is that the term "mentally diseased" is metaphorical.. when people answered on this paragraph did they say "people who leave are metally diseased" or did they say "they are like mentally diseased" people?.

  if they said the former it would indicate that they did not take it metaphorically..

  This was discussed last Sunday throughout the entire JW World! under the title:

  Will You Heed Jehovah’s Clear Warnings?

  6 How can we protect ourselves against false teachers? The Bible’s counsel regarding how to deal with them is clear. (Read Romans 16:17; 2 John 9-11.) "Avoid them," says God’s Word. Other translations render that phrase "turn away from them," "keep away from them," and "stay away from them!" There is nothing ambiguous about that inspired counsel. Suppose that a doctor told you to avoid contactwith someone who is infected with a contagious, deadly disease. You would know what the doctor means, and you would strictly heed his warning.

  Well, apostates are "mentally diseased," and they seek to infect others with their disloyal teachings. (1 Tim. 6:3, 4) Jehovah, the Great Physician, tells us to avoid contact with them. We know what he means, but are we determined to heed his warning in all respects?

  I am sorry you misunderstood; I am NOT one of the lying Jehovah's Witnesses and I DO NOT support them or their views. Unfortunately i do have to support my wife who is an active member.
