The British Kingdom Ministry's differ from USA ones considerably, the first mention of CD-ROM's in British KM's would appear to be in September 1995, page 5 Maintaining a Balanced View of Computer Technology.

Prior to that any in UK were imported privately, mainly by Bethel brothers and distributed privately to selected elders, very hush-hush.

hi, i just joined this site and thought i would say hi.

my brief history is being raised as a witness, disfellowshiped for being a normal 17 year old, spending 10 years feeling guilty and thinking im going to die and so will my husband and son.

mother and father in it and always run out crying because they think they failed as parents cause none of their kids stayed in it.

jw's have been making pests of themselves at my house.

2 weeks ago 2 guys came here and gwen let them have it, nicely.

they will never be back she thought, and so did i. well today, while i was at a job, two ladies came by (one has been here before, and i have met her, but i don't know her).

finding out jehovah's witnesses were a cult on a number of occasions individuals would warn.

Since 1949, I always felt certain that they were a 'cult', my wife came under their spell (1952) when I worked in the evenings to earn a living. They studied with her completely behind my back in secret.

I actually saw my wife going from Twickenham Rugby Ground (1955), where the Assemblies were held, to Twickenham swimming pool for her baptism.

I was working in The Odeon Cinema which had a balcony overlooking the centre of Twickenham, I saw this long queue of people walking along AND there was my wife.

I have tried to ignore it, I have tried to join it, always finding some new disgusting thing taking place.

It cannot be even a true religion, it can only be a mind twisting cult.

NO, The statement is NOT true.

Elders tend to stick like s**t, there are infrequent changes, death and change of abode are the most reasons for elders departing. You do get elder families, where 2 - 5 elders are all related.
