If I post that elders are liars, usually someone says they are not.
If I posted elders don't lie that would be wrong,
perhaps I should write, 'most elders lie most of the time',
which they do!

by 5thGeneration ini think it's hilarious that when you post facts there is still always someone arguing it.. makes you want to stop bothering if people don't want to learn.. but then again my family has only been in the truth for 100 years so what would i know?.

My father used to sell his own knitting patterns to 'Paton & Baldwin's', that was in the early 30's
My sister in Tasmania still has a knitted jacket made by him to his own pattern, with his own patented casting on stitch.
Incidentally he was an oil well driller in Venezuela!

Do you think it's right?
by 5thGeneration inas much as you may be mad at the society, the brothers or family, do you think it is ethical to post their letters or e-mails?.
i kind of feel that these things were written with the intent of confidentiality and it is kind of unethical.
(please, no disrespect to those who don't agree).. any thoughts?.

In my case, I used the Data Protection Act, to force the Branch Office to release a copy of a letter written by the elders in my cong. to the branch.
This was about a sister in the cong, the branch deleted any content about other people and sent it to the sister's address.
She has now given it to me; it is the most appalling letter I have ever read in my whole life.
Importantly though I have no intention of publishing it (at this time) but it proves what disgraceful liars elders are.

For six years we had the CO to stay with us, as they always asked to come back.
Then the PO had an extension to his house built and we were OUT!

A lot of problems , a lot of anger , but I've enjoyed the fight , and I'm still fighting.
I now know they lie, I have written evidence, the Data Protection Act is a wonderful tool.
I'm 74 and I'm going to enjoy whatever time I have left, I even enjoyed visiting a Womans Prison yesterday, didn't get a 'Tee shirt' though , got one from Alcatraz!

The last talk on the Saturday afternoon was, 'Are You Living With Jehovah's Day in Mind?' followed by the release of a new book, you can download it here from Reexamine:

The stress in that book on how to treat people and telling the truth is so in opposition to what was and is going on in my local congregation.
